You always do amazing work! You are a true artist and your baking is always exquisite! 💕 P. S. The slates could be held together with a thick chocolate frosting for glue, perhaps?

Yo creo que el secreto está en tostar menos la galleta, que en cuanto los bordes empiecen a dorarse, retirarlas las galletas del horno y con la humedad del bizcocho, la crema y el frigorífico, la galleta se pone blanda y se corta perfectamente. And maybe break the box into pieces with your hands or cut them and add to each serving, like a crumble or topping 😅 it's such a beautiful dessert!

Omg!!! That is a beautiful and creative cake that would taste spectacular. It's a shame to cut it at all but I'd be more than happy to😅. I would think not allowing the cookies to get to crisp, than with the moisture of the cake, compote, cream and putting it into the fridge would help soften them making cutting into it easier. 🤷Just an ideal as I'm not a very good baker. Thank you for sharing.

Another masterpiece by the Queen of Cakes! I think I would cut across the middle, dividing the cake into two. Then cut smaller slices, sawing through the shortbread. Each end would have a nice little piece. But really, it’s to beautiful to cut into LOL!
But then, I thought cut it in thirds and then the thirds in half! Someone will get more shortbread but everyone will get a delightful piece of cake. Boy, I’ve really given this a lot of thought!
