All you missing if you want is a light up marquee. Probably need a splitter & an extension to the power brick it is all. Some marquees can also be powered using a USB port if there's 1 available on the box. Not sure if you can on the video board you used.
Nice work bud. I recently molded my mk2 ND love it. How did u setup the volume with the buttons if u don't mind explaining. I'm using the l cd board to control the volume. I wanna set it up with the original volume button but I read that the current videos on how to don't work for the Gen 3 cabinet.
I plugged in the speakers and turned the volume all the way up on them. To adjust the volume all you need to do is press and hold select while playing any game and push up or down on the joystick. Are you using the arcade box console from amazon?
@@Oracle_insight no I went with the raspberry pi4. I'm in arcade heaven. Flashed the devils arcade image on a 128gig Micro SD and this thing has literally everyone of my childhood favorites. Now that I know more of how it all works I would like to build my own arcade unit from scratch. That way have a nice big screen as well.
@@theknight8036 these little arcade boxes from amazon are a nice quick way to get everything set up. It’s actually got pretty good performance. They have a hot key button where you just press select and up or down to adjust the volume.
Unsure if you will see this, but I cant find the answer in the video. I think I notice it uses the control board for the new arcade, but how do you connect it to the box and how do you swap between arcade1up system and the arcade?
I pinned some of my other videos in the comments on this video for full step by step. And once I install the Arcade box, I don’t switch back to the original Arcade1up system or games it came with.
Thank you so much for your video! I was able to do this mod to my Arcade1 Up Street Fighter II Legacy Edition. I only have one unresolved issue. The front light at the top used to light up before. When I changed the board, I no longer have the power to the front light. Is there a way I could power up the front light? The new display board didn’t have the power out to connect that power cable.

Do you have to replace the top speakers? I barely hear audio from them and it won’t let me raise the volume, I mean I can raise the volume but the sound doesn’t change.

That will allow you to raise or lower the volume when you are playing a game.

Since this video I’ve modded probably about 100 of them. For some reason this one model had a really flimsy cheap plastic plexi compared to any other one I did.
No I use computer speakers from amazon and they come with built in volume control. I turn the volume all the way up on them and then I adjust the volume by holding Select and up or down while in a game to adjust the volume.

START and SELECT are the two white/clear buttons at the top, next going down are the two green buttons and they are left trigger and right trigger, top red button is X, top blue is Y, bottom red is A, bottom blue is B, left yellow is left bumper, right yellow is right bumper.

@@zombies504 could be, and you are sure you have the correct board? Also you have the ground hooked up and it’s not pulling any cords unplugged from inside the monitor? On one install I accidentally pulled a cord to hard from inside the monitor and when I hooked it all up I had a black screen. I thought the board was bad but I opened the monitor up and found that the cord came unplugged.
I haven’t tried but heard the board doesn’t work for the monitor. You need to be able to hook hdmi up to the monitor and they don’t have a lcd board that works with it, as far as I know.
The controls are a complete mess! Why ruin the button layout? Have you ever seen anything like that in any arcade? This is what happens when people have no clue what they are doing
What are you talking about? This is for people who want more games. And the controls work great. Of course it’s not going to work with every single game but it works great with classic retro games.

I just got one 5 months ago , have not played it much but do want more games .

The lcd board link shows two options for resolution. Which one did you grab? 1280x960 or 1280x1024?
1280x960 is the one I bought
