You’re starting to spoil me with your long videos! Great as always sir! I always rob Catfish Jackson’s twice before the debt collection. A little extra $$. And every once in a while I’ll loot Painted Sky & Downes’ ranch’ before and after the collections.
@@FilbeeGaming Always enjoy your videos - not gonna complain about these extra long ones either. You're very thorough and it's a good thing. Yes we do follow each other on there sir. I like how Low Honor Arthur kicks Strauss out because he was “waisting his time” lmao In all seriousness it’s sad how low honor Arthur really does care deep down he’s just unable to show any kind of kindness anymore
@@FilbeeGaming He was abandoned on his first day in America and had to survive on his own. He's probably tougher than we think. He stood up to Micah and do you remember when he joined the scrap in 'The Sheep and the Goats'? He even took a bullet to the leg. lol.
Maybe Thomas never caughed in their faces. Maybe he kept some distance when he had bad days. But maybe it was just to have a redemption arc for Arthur.

Yeah, what she becomes and her son (Downes family). If not for Arthur hand intervening... But also, he created the problem in the first place; and got very well rewarded... Cheers!
Great vid!! Strauss deserved it. I'm doing another playthrough and I'm trying to see how much of the game I can complete without advancing the storyline. I wanted my bolt action and legendary animal map so I did 2 missions. I screwed it up already, lol. I'm still in Chapter 2 though and have 40% of the game completed. I'd like to see a video showing me how to do that properly. Like, how do you get the rolling back in chapter 2 to finish the sharpshooter challenge? I'd also like to see updated videos on how to do the challenges.
There’s absolutely nothing wrong with what Strauss was doing. If you have the ability to collect debt, then loaning money is a great business. And if you borrowed the money then you need to pay back what’s owed and if you don’t it’s called robbery and needs to be dealt with.
I love it when Arthur states, "The church has been taking more than they need off the poor folks since time began." Now, that is what we can refer to as truism.

Personally, my opinion is that poor Strauss gets a bad rep. He sets up rules that people agree to and only sends muscle when the time is due. Arthur and co, on the other hand, kill people for money. No rules, just there's the money and those poor bastards are in his way. Hell, if he even followed his advice to Strauss, "go and get a job!", he might have had a much longer life and maybe even been able to hold on to Mary. :) But, the game needs a scapegoat to make Arthur look better, so... Strauss gets a bad rep. ;)
That’s certainly how Strauss sees it. I think the missions are meant to show how that viewpoint is flawed, and how much suffering Strauss causes by taking advantage of desperate people.
I just started another play through. I think its my 5th. Evertime i see strauss i smash the heck out of the antagonize button. The sour kraut.

He didn’t care about Arthur and in all honesty I don’t think Arthur would have done it but Dutch asks him to do it if he waits too long.

Do not understand why Arthur got TB from a brief interaction with Thomas Downes but the wife and son who lived with him did not.

They probably did have TB but we’re asymptomatic. Arthur’s only became symptomatic after the trauma of guarma

It's one thing to loan people money at reasonable interest rates, quite another to do it like Strauss does...he's a thief and a degenerate human being
Somehow robbing a bank seems more honorable than taking from someone who has nothing
