The only way to get your Cole slaw, is to make your own. Nothing compares,,, and Heath, I think your Sainted Grandmother would be mighty proud of her Grandson. ❤
DAYUMN!!!! That’s the best looking fried chicken sandwich I’ve ever seen! Shout out to your Grammy for the cast iron pan fried technique! Thanks for sharing this amazing recipe!
Homemade cole-slaw is a great addition to a chicken sandwich or a pulled pork sammich. Out in Colorado, no one has ever heard of cole-slaw, especially on BBQ. I try to educate my friends, but it is hard. Of course, on pulled pork, the mustard cole slaw is king. Places in Memphis like Payne's on Lamar, or the long-gone place on Central (that I cannot remember the name of ) across from Tim McCarver Stadium, that had the best mustard slaw ever. I will remember it eventually. Anyway, I love the mustard slaw and make it with the packaged shredded slaw cabbage and add the mustard, pepper, mayo and hot sauce, of course.
Awesome work here! I was planning on doing fried chicken later this week, and this just sealed the deal! A local spot by me does a honey-sriracha sauce for their fried chicken, and it's great! Cheers, brother!

Man that looks amazing! I wonder if you could make the slaw the bite before and chill it or you think it would get soggy?
We putt he slaw in the fridge beforehand to chill

How long would you recommend in the air fryer and at what temp?
I would cook at 375 degrees for about 15-20 minutes.

I'd prefer that slaw on the side. Putting it on the sandwich would make me feel like I'm just trying to eat and get it over with.
Can definitely serve it on the side if you prefer. That slaw was really good on the sandwich. I'd highly recommend trying it with it.
Yeah Baby! That‘s great! I have to try it! Greetings from Germany! Ole #wattnbbq
