- Can I beat Pokémon Violet using ONLY Fish Pokémon?
RULES:
1. Only Fish Pokémon can be used
2. I cannot over level beyond the Gym leaders ace
3. Must play on set mode
4. No items in battle (held items are okay)
5. No duplicate species can be caught
6. Must nickname Pokémon

I’m curious why you counted a dolphin as a fish but not a sea snake. I mean, neither are fish, but it seems like if you include one you should include the other

@@Evilpeter1 dolphins are mammals; they give birth to live young, breathe air, and produce milk. Fish lay eggs, filter oxygen through water, and do not produce milk.
Some other fish pokemon that you could've used are Wiglett and Wugtrio as they are specifically garden eels and eels are fish, similarly Tynamo, Eelektrik and Eelektross are based on eels and lamprey which are both fish, and lastly while Scarlet exclusive Skrelp and Dragalge would also count as seahorses are fish

Fell Stinger didn't activate upon fainting the Pawniard because, for some reason, the game doesn't count the Starmobile as part of Giacomo's team
Also, if Gyarados isn't allowed, then Palafin isn't either, because dolphins aren't fish

@@MichaelTikTakcan you do one but you use monster/kaiju Pokémon so like metacross, sceptile, tyranitar ect I am a huge kaiju fan like Godzilla and Gamera
@@JoMcMullenMetagross? That’s a robot. And sceptile isn’t in the game yet. The only one of those usable is tyranitar and even then, eri would WRECK tyranitar.

Haven’t watched yet, but I am curious how the beginning will go, considering a lot of fish Pokémon aren’t catchable until you unlock the ability to surf. Then again, that is Bombirdier, so it isn’t that long of a wait.

Besides game balance of course. Dragon types are reptiles. Gyarados is a FISH, not a reptile. He's more akin to an eel than a snake this was from google btw
Not all dragon types are reptiles though. While I would count Gyarados as a fish too, I also would count Dragalge and Kingdra as fishes. Meanwhile Palafin is not a fish, it’s a dolphin.

But snakes actually are lizards. They are a central branch of the Squamate order, so including them there was the correct move. The ones who didn’t belong in the lizard run were the crocodiles.

@@MichaelTikTak Plus Gyarados looks more like a sea monster than just a fish, and is honestly just meant to be more like a Chinese dragon given the Magikarp line is inspired by the dragon gate story where a carp that can swim to the top of a waterfall will turn into a dragon
