I feel like not enough people talk about the fact that Ogerpon canonically has a body count. Granted, it was in self-defense (or *maybe* revenge?) and all three of those bodies came back to life for yet-unknown reasons (probably related to the Terastal phenomenon based on some clues), but still.
I think your videos are so refreshing. It screams that you are having fun while trying to come up with fun challenges. Also the accent makes everything better. A close friend of mine lives in schotland now and we always bond over the accent and how it sounds so nice and warm, so these videos are also great for when I miss visiting her in Scotland

It's actually pretty tricky to work out the odds of two shiny Pokemon being loaded at the same time. You need to factor in the number of Pokemon that are loaded at once, which of course is neither constant nor something that can be accurately described by a probability distribution (since it's not really random and depends on a number of factors). 1/512² is a good enough approximation since it gets the general point across.

I know this was made when the DLC was brand new, so there wasn't much known about it. I thought you had to essentially complete the PokeDex for each region to gain Shiny Charm benefits for each map in the game? Basically, you have to get the main Paldea map first, then which ever DLC maps you want after by completing the map's PokeDex? I was under the impression you don't get Shiny Charm odds for the DLC maps jist because you have the Shiny Charm from the base map. I need to look into this, as I'm super curious now! Thankfully, the day-lock goes away after doing all the things with the main story. It's actually really pretty being at the beginning rice patty area at sunset. Especially with all the Bug and Water Types floating around. 😊 Been trying for Shiny Poochy for ages, by the way. I've found TONS of Shinies, but having some intense trouble with a few I really want, lol. I don't know how you have the patience for some of these Hunts. I've done a ton of Shiny Hunting but I still have little patience, haha.
Swinub was my first shiny of the dlc and i was so upset cause I really wanted it to be furret and I made the joke that if it wasn't furret that I would delete my save file. lol
