- Can I beat Pokémon Violet with Hardcore Nuzlocke rules - using ONLY FIRE type pokemon? (No items, No overleveling, Set mode)
HARDCORE NUZLOCKE RULES:
1. Only one FIRE type Pokemon per area
2. If a Pokemon faints it must be boxed
3. I cannot overlevel beyond the Gym leaders ace
4. No items in battle (held items are okay)
5. No duplicate species can be caught
6. Must nickname Pokemon

Infernape! It is the best fire fighting starter and my favorite pokemon of all time.

my only problem with this is that you have to do things in order to make sure you arent over leveled. i usually leave team star for the end.
Yeah unfortunately due to level caps, the game needs to be played in order!

@@MichaelTikTak they could have easily fixed level scaling in this game ,based on gym badges earned.

It was amazing seeing violet playthroughs even though I am more of a scarlet guy myself but it was amazing. But u sadely missed out on the fire/fighting tarous but greatly played mate

Every time I see skeledirge, or any of the final evolved starters, they look better every time I look at them, this is controversial, but they are on par with the sinnoh starters

The only sort of cute ones are Turtwig, Piplup, and ***maybe*** Grottle, other than that, all of the other ones don't look great in my opinion

I had the same experience during the houndour cutscenes! Spent the next hour trying to clip my way back over the rail before even getting Koriadon. It was completely worth it.

Did you consider using fire Terra type Pokémon if terastalized them immediately from non-fire types?
One of the best types of Pokémon that SV introduced is the new ghost types so hope to see a Ghost type only run
Also how about a Pseduo Legendary only playthrough?
I decided against Pokémon who are not fire, but can terra into one as then I would need to terra them in every battle
The best fire Pokémon is FEUCOCOs final evolution because he survived on one health and beat the champion

You need to make a sandwich that increase the rate of fire Pokemon and then you will randomly find one in a pack of regular ones! Good luck

I was waiting for this. I hate sword and shield with a passion and really loved Legends Arceus. I feel mixed about Scarlet and Violet but still better then the trainwreck that was SW/SH

Technically you did not because you used miraidon which is a electric/dragon type Pokémon and not a fire type Pokemon.

Question: what’s stopping you from leveling up your Pokémon to 100 after you got your 8 gym badge’s from the champion route?
I have level caps for every boss fight, so the highest before the final boss is 67
So you don’t utterly destroy all the Pokémon.
You should do fire only but you can only use the new fire pokemon
I actually used all the new fire pokemon in Violet! Unfortunately Tauros and Armarouge are Scarlet exclusives
all the people who say charizard, infernape, cinderace or blaziken really have no personality i mean come on there are a lot of cool fire types in pokemon and you really take the lamest ones that everyone takes? so i have 2 favorite fire pokemon 1) Salazzle 2) Heatmor
