- Dogcipe No.079 Dehydrated Chicken Neck
We absolutely loved dehydrated chicken feet as a special treat. And guess what? Our dogs love the dehydrated chicken necks even more! We have feed the raw chicken necks before, but they go crazy over dehydrated one! Bet it is all about the smell. The smell is horrible to us. So if recommend making these in the area where you wouldn’t care about the smell. The smell is close to poop smell! Hope you get to try it. If you do, don’t forget to tag us on IG (@mypetcipe).

I normally feed my 🐕 frozen raw chick neck. After being freezed 4 weeks, chick neck is safe to feed. Or if go forward to dehydration i dehydrated them a few hours (less than 5 hours )at 70 degrees Celsius.
Great video! Thanks
Thanks s lot for this info.♡♡♡
Glad you liked the video! Thank you for watching ☺️
That one article says to Not feed Cooked bones. This dehydrating process is cooking the bones in those chicken neck aren't they?
Right, we should not feed cooked bones. Dehydrated chicken feet/necks slowly air-dried at a much lower temperature, it won’t cook the bones all the way. You can definitely feed raw chicken neck if you are not comfortable feeding dehydrated chicken neck/feet. You can dehydrate just plain meat without bone as well. There are lots of options when you can make treats for your own dogs 😉
@@MyPetcipe I did some frozen salmon i didn't plan on eating and she like it, so you're right, there's lots of options! It's mostly only long bones i see that are the biggist danger so the nects should be fine.
Thanks for the reply!!!
I can not get the link to the meat source site to open. Could you please tell me the site for the feet and necks thank you
We usually shop at the H-Mart, Lotte, or 99 Ranch Market for the chicken feet/necks.
which is better to clean a dog teeth? dehydrated neck or feet ?
Probably feet. Tons of long bone
the best is chicken feet porridge..delicious..
We cook porridge for ourself for BF😂😂😂
Can we cook the chicken neck to the rotweiller dog....is it safe for them
No not safe for any dog, when you cook them the bones become brittle and can cause serious harm to your dog’s throat and stomach
I am reading up to learn how to do this , many articles say dehydrating too long will make the bones too brittle and can choke or harm your dog… how can you tell when enough time has passed ?
There’s a point where there’s no more change in colors/texture for the outer parts (meat portion). You can stop then and store them in the freezer and thaw them for about 24 hrs in the fridge before feeding. This way, you don’t have to worry about overly dehydrating the bones and having the food go bad too quick.
how long to dehydrate chicken feet and neck? is it 24 hrs already safe for the dogs?
Mine are done in much less time
@@MyPetcipe so does that mean the bones can be dangerous for dogs if left for 24hours?
@@MyPetcipe Absolutely; good thoughts. Thanks!
What temperature you use?
Dehydrate for 24 hours at 155°F (68°C).
Lower the temperature to 105°F (40°C) to dehydrate another 24 hours.
How much bill does it cost
I am not sure!
