Riding the BMW M1000RR from Wunderlich at the Nürburgring Nordschleife😊 This was my second lap with this bike following Tim Röthig. You can go so much faster with this bike on the Nordschleife, but it takes much more laps to use the power on the Nordschleife. The pace of this lap is roughly BTG 7:40. Big thanks to X-lite (Ridersclub) and Wunderlich for the invitation to the Nordschleife and for the bike!

mein Gott... ich bin 1970 in den Sattel gestiegen und 71 hatte ich eine CB 750 K1. Damals top of the pops. Wenn ich das sehe... die möglichen Schräglagen, die unvorstellbare Beschleunigung... Wahnsinn. Eine Entwicklung wie Steinzeit zu Weltraumfahrt. Ich bin 200.000 km Motorrad gefahren mit verschiedenen, großem Maschinen. Aber nichts kommt annähernd an das Leistungsspektrum, die Fahrdynamik, die Perfektion moderner Bikes heran. Ich bin von diesem Video begeistert und wünsche mir, 50 Jahre jünger zu sein, um wieder aufsitzen zu können. Fantastischer Sport...
Da hast Du wohl recht. Im umgekehrtem Verhältnis steht für mich dazu allerdings das Aussehen der Motorräder.
ich hatte auch die 750 four. aber es gab damals auch schon höllenmaschinen.....zwar nicht so im alltag....im rennsport auf jeden fall. nur bekam man (ausser man interessierte sich für den rennsport) das alles nicht so mit. gab ja nix wie utube usw usw. klar waren das nicht öfen wie heutzutage, aber trotzdem waren da zu unserer 750 four krasse unterschiede. was auf jedenfall für mich der grösste fortschritt ist, ist wie von dir mit "schräglagen" erwähnt, das fahrverhalten. was ist man mit unsrer 750er durch die kurven geeiert, bei jeder kleinen unebenheit in der kurve gleich furchteinflössendes aufschaukeln usw. aber ich muss sagen, es hatte auch einen vorteil. und zwar zeigte dir dein bock damit "freundle...du bist an der grenze...mach mal bissl langsamer". ich fuhr ja bis 2023 auch renner, zuletzt ne suzi gsx-r 1000. und da ist es halt echt so, dass diese teufel aufgrund ihrer geilen fahrwerke ja doch recht ruhig durch die kurven gehn und du jedes mal denkst "wäre noch bissl schräger/schneller gegangen", bis es halt dann zu viel ist und man ohne jegliche "warnung durch das bike" wegschmiert.

Die Linie und Schräglage vom Tim sind wirlkich sehr, sehr beeindruckend. Einfach krass wie der reinlaufen lässt!

Tim is an absolute beast on that zx10 round the ring,he really gets the best out of it and that bmw is no slouch either,props for a really special lap.
That is some really neat riding and that Kawasaki is so smooth through the corners.

I doff my cap to you two guys. Watching that video brought back some memories of riding my bikes back in the 80's. Oh yes I was a nutter lol. One could back then because there were far fewer cars on the road.

Fabulous riding and credit to the ZX
That little off-road trip at 6:25 had me clinching! I liked how the lead rider found he was a bit ahead and slowed down for the BMW. Nice to let the following rider cool off a bit and get his heart rate down. No need to tease him into always going 100% until the BMW crashes.

I think this was during a Motorrad Aktion Perfektion Training event so the ring was closed to cars. Well worth doing this if you can! I was there as well but was probably doing lap times that were twice the time Murtanio did :)

Great riding skills and not for the faint hearted! On a side note, the M1000RR looks to have the edge on what few good straights there are on the circuit.

2te Runde 7.40 mit nem fremden unbekannten Mopped is schon mal ne hohe Hausnummer. Auch wenn Tim vorne fährt und den Guide macht, aber warum geht er dir id Fuchsröhre laufen ? egal immer wieder ein Genuß sowas anzuschauen wenn Könner am Kabel ziehen.

Great video. I have already driven on the Nurb, and on other circuits like Le Mans, Dijon Prenois, Magnycourt... But the Nordschleife is really another world!

Das sieht aber mal richtig gut aus,was der Tim hier mit der guten alten ZX 10 in den Ring stanzt! Da muss sich die Doppel R aber ganz schön strecken! Kawa bleibt Kawa - ohne Wenn und Aber!
Der kundige Beobachter hört schon an der Last des Motor das die M nur hinterher fährt. Wozu auch Pushen bei einem 40K+ Leihfahrzeug das einem nicht gehört

To me, with my limited understanding, it seems the zx rider is a little bit smoother and knows the track better. The bimmer is a bit faster in some points, don't know if that's just the zx rider slacking or the bimmer was pushing harder and braking a bit later in some corners. Both very fast and entertaining to watch, tnx.

Why are the concrete slabs still in that left corner (at 4:40)? Keeps amazing me. It looks like a bad repair from the 80's and they didn't bother to finish it. Fantastic riding guys!
