    While there are many sites that sell great sabers, i actually have a local site in my home country. Shipping is free and the prices are much better for me than if i were to use a US based store. Personally, I'd say to check if you have a local store based in your home country before going for the more well known stores. The quality might not be as great, but the shipping is usually much faster and cheaper, even free in some cases, and lesser known stores usually have lower prices across the board too

    What’s the difference between a Neopixel or a Xenopixel? Or are they the same thing, and is Neopixel just a brand? Also is there a way to make your base lit brighter?

    In person, do baselit sabers look less bright?

    • @ZachAgape
      @ZachAgape 5 месяцев назад +1

      generally yes, especially further away from the hilt (towards the tip of the blade). Probably a non-issue in low-light environments, but outside in the sun it'll probably make a difference. On the other hand, baselit sabers can be fit a colored blade (sometimes called 'daylight blade') which will make the color obviously much more visible during the day (though note that whatever color you change the lightsaber's light to, it will be colored by your colored blade).

    I know this is for beginner sabers, but would be cool if you did a video for proffie boards too. The ability to import & customize sound fonts & the neopixel saber effects is really nice.

      I just received my first proffie lightsaber from Nsabers! It will be in my next video but I will make a standalone video just on the proffie board since I am completely brand new to proffie boards. My friend has proffie lightsabers and they’re insane! And I’m a simple kind of lightsaber user 😯

      From my understand, you need to buy a new lightsaber because the hilt and saber are different. If you watch the video, the baselit hilt will not light up a neopixel saber or vice versa.

      @@Haylion Thanks! Since none of those lightsabers have retractable blades, and that screwing/unscrewing the blade to remove it or put it on seems both cumbersome and risky in terms of losing pieces (if you do it outside), would you say the fastest and easiest way of adding and removing the blade on those lightsabers is to have 2 emitters, one on which you've attached the blade, so that you can simply unscrew the emitter to put the other one when you want to add or remove the blade?😄 Would that indeed work like I envision it, or am I misunderstanding how the blade is attached to the hilt?

    • @Haylion
      @Haylion  5 месяцев назад

      @@ZachAgape the blades are held in by small hex set screws. Not too difficult to install or remove the blade. You just unscrew it a little bit and the blade comes off. You don’t have to unscrew the set screws all the way out but yes there is a possibility of losing the set screws if you leave them in there. Most lightsaber come with extra set screws and blade plugs so you can plug the emitter and tighten the screws against the plug.

    • @ZachAgape
      @ZachAgape 5 месяцев назад

      @@Haylion Thanks, that's helpful! To be clear: the blade is indeed attached to the emitter part of the hilt, is that right?
