  • We ran across this TRAC Tire Jack while at the SEMA Launch Pad that showcases new innovations in tools and equipment. This was actually the Launch Pad Winner at the SEMA Show 2022. The Tire Jack uses a large steel plate and a roller to maneuver even your heaviest of tires and wheels. Easily place the wheel and tire on the studs without any sweat and without putting your toes under the tire.

      price gouging.. gotta win the lottery somehow, baby!! Just watch a few episodes of shark tank and listen to the margins people make on products. I'm convinced EVERYTHING we buy is overpriced so "entrepreneurs" can live fat in Malibu. SMH... Charge realistically and make bank on volume. At this price, I'm FOR SURE making my own. Shoot, I'll get a cheap shovel from a garage sale and chop the handle down a little

    I don't know how that won at sema considering I use a very similar tool every day for city bus tires. Except mine has a nice handle and rollers to spin the tire of the lugs don't line up. Bus and big rig tires and wheels have to weight close to 200lbs so I see a use there, but for car tires $150 seems like a waste.

    • @donhappel9566
      @donhappel9566 Год назад +1

      Yeah...Pretty much anybody who's worked on heavy wheels and tires like large 4wds or heavy equipment knows how to use a prybar to lift a wheel onto the studs. Pretty standard when you're dealing with 150+ lb wheel/tires. But I guess the brilliance of this isn't so much the tool as the idea to make and market it to people who don't already know how to do that with the stuff they have sitting in the box already?

      We're really not trying to stretch these out in any way. Over the years, we've played around with being quick and to the point as well as explaining every single detail. We watch the comments and see what our users want. Bottom line, as soon as all the details are dropped or cut, viewers come unglued and accuse us of editing, not showing everything, and even lying. RUclips is an interesting world. Sorry if you thought it was too long...we're doing our best to hit the sweet spot. Please stay with us, and we welcome your comments, good and bad. USD would make it much more desirable, however at that price it would likely have to be made in China to be profitable for the company.
