Great coverage on this kit, haven't seen any other reviews, maybe haven't looked, but I did buy the premium package a few months ago. And yes, this is a kit you'll admire every time you unwrap it. Furthermore, there is no kit out there that has the quality of pouch the tools tuck away in, VERY substantial, beautifully designed and tough tough tough. I agree with you, for many if not most of the things you need to do on a bike, this kit is all you need. Beautiful tools! Ingenious designs and thoughtfully crafted. Put your cost worries aside, these are lifetime tools.
172 quid for a basic kit ??? Good grief. Get a 3 quid roll, and stuff it with odds from your regular tool kit, or a new basic kit for way less. That’s bloody ridiculous.
That’s a good idea for a video. There are much cheaper options around. I use this kit as my main kit both in my garage and on the road, the tools are of excellent quality so I consider it to be of good value considering the usage I get out of it. But there are certainly cheaper options around.
@@WildlifeMoto yeah I get it, I’ve probably spent 000s on tools, so have the benefit of way more than I need, and can easily make a roll up. Good it serves you for both purposes.
That set is bloody clever, I wouldn't double up spanners on the rachet spanner but do on a normal ring spanner for stubborn nuts
These are beautiful tools but I reckon you could have a very very decent roll to take with you with half that kit. They don't need to be aluminium if you don't take them with you.
Yesterday I purchased mine for AT. Looks awesome
Looks like a stunning piece of kit! 👏👍😀🏍
It really is!
When I saw your video, immediately went to the SBV website and bought one basic kit and let me tell you it is incredible. Thank you for showing us this tools.
Nice! Delighted to hear that. You've got a decent set of tools for life there. Enjoy.
I bought the adventure kit after watching you original video but i didn't get the 11mm/10mm combo spanner, im about to order the add on kit for my Yamaha and the code still works, need to know about the combo spanner please.
Great to hear the code still works. I’d recommend dropping them an email as they’ll be best placed to give you the correct information on the current kits (they are usually quick to respond). info@sbvtools.com
They added the combo spanner in 2023, I bought my adventure kit before that and they don't sell the spanner separately, I'm sure I'm covered anyway it's the lack of an 11mm open ender, keep up the good work my friend.
I have the basic + KTM and it's tops. Such a pleasure to work with high quality tools.
Quintessence of toolphile geekery ?
Spot on 👍
@@WildlifeMoto Don't you mean Snap On? (Hehe....soz couldn't resist that!!!😆)
I was going to comment about the trick of interlocking a ring and open end spanner to get extra leverage length.......but then you went ahead and demonstrated the technique, so top marks fella.
Hi, outstanding video. You couldn't of done that any better. Fairplay. I'm going to start doing reviews on my channel & if I can get half as good at how you did that, I'll be happy. I'm looking for a tool kit after Ryanair took mine off me. These look awesome 👌.
Thank you mate. Appreciate the feedback 👍
@@WildlifeMoto 🤘😈🤘
can these SBV tools be used on a 2022 Harley Davidson street glide special?
They make a specific kit for HD. sbvtools.com/products/motorcycle-tool-sets/harley-davidson/
Unfortunately the US site isn't taking your coupon code.
I just ordered using the code and it worked for me (Colorado)
Unfortunately, the promo code is not working in Germany.
The Code is working again, thanks to have let us know.
Hi Alex. Hopefully it’s all good now. Cheers
Thank you. Appreciate your review and purchased using your code.
Some of the tools look nifty, but it’s very expensive for what it is, in my opinion.
The initial outlay is significant, I agree. However, these are top quality tools so the value will be realised over time. I've made the horrible mistake of buying cheap tools in the past.
@@WildlifeMoto me too, but when my entire 1/2” and 1/4” Bahco socket set is around half the price, I gotta question how overpriced this is.
Anyway, glad it works for you. It does look cool, but way too expensive for my taste.
@@kevquirk Bacho are fantastic! 👍
well thought quaity kit but outsde my price range, any serious adv rider would be glad of these tools in his or her pannier.
