Great video, love the content, we were wondering did you guys already own the truck and travel trailer before you started this year of travel? Or were you making payments? Cheers!
Thanks a lot! We already owned the truck and trailer before this trip. I think it would’ve been much harder if we were still making payments on either of them!
priceless
Definitely!
Hi!! I know this is an older video, but I have a question. How much was just your trip to Baja? We are thinking of doing it ourselves, and we are curious. Thanks!!!
Appreciate the work involved in putting those figures together. Thanks for making the video, very helpful. Good to hear you both have enjoyed and continue to enjoy the ride!
Cheers! It’s the best life!
This was interesting and just another side of you both. Safe travels and look forward to seeing you again in September.
Thank you!! We’ll be back asap!
The adventure of a lifetime! Thanks for breaking it down for us. Can't wait to see what's in store!
We have lots of big plans coming !!
Love your adventures! Keep them coming and have fun on your intl trip!
Thank you!!!
Hi guys. I sure hope we get a chance to bump into you on the road one of these days. You're so happy. Happy Campers lol. Love the vids. Keep it up.

I looooove watching your adventures! And how transparent you are with everything! Also - enjoy the international vacay!!!!!!!
Thanks so much!! We are super excited :)
Super different episode! I really appreciate the breakdown of what it takes in the 'behind the scenes' side of a journey like this - not that you guys haven't shown every fixed drawer and pulling wheels apart. I think the long term emotional weighing of highs and lows was fascinating to hear, and hearing you both say all the troubles are well worth it makes me happy, and wonder about the lifestyle too. I'm sure the pets which often something you guys had to deal with, like laundry and caring for them also provided a lot of emotional support when way out there on your own. I'd be curious about their impact like that.
I'll be binging your trip up north as I usually watch a bunch of your vids in a row, and when you come back home from the next adventure it would be great to see you!
Anyways, super enjoyable as always!
Seb
Hey man thanks so much for watching our adventures! I appreciate it. It’s definitely been one of the best experiences of our lives and I don’t regret any of it.
I’ll be getting back into the RUclips videos this wknd! Where are you headed up north?
Mike, I’ve been watching you since the beginning… It’s been fun watching you guys grow. A few times I’d shake my head and think WTH are they thinking? But you’d guys pull though it. $50K USD is not that bad considering the miles you put down. Congratulations!!
Ahahha believe me I have also asked many times WTH am I doing 😂😂😂
Thanks for including us in your adventures ! Enjoyed all you videos. Driving to Tuk will be fun I’m sure. I like to hear your 🇨🇦 perspective on your travels. Stay safe, continue to entertain us !
Woot.🎉 Happy anniversary 🎉.
Yahooo!!
Dana and Mike, ya'll have made another fun and interesting video. Your expenses list is pretty similar to what ours comes out to for a year. Mike's "Random Items" column sounds exactly like our "Repairs and Projects" column. We have a separate "Truck Repairs" and "Truck Maintenance". Having an emergency fund saved back for those times of need saved our butts in Wyoming (when we punched a hole in the gas tank) and California (when rats chewed up our wire harness). That $49,000 (US funds) may sound like a lot. but we spent way more than that every year of home ownership (so glad we sold that house!) Enjoy your travels, we quite enjoy watching the videos. Thanks for your efforts documenting your travels.
Oh man! Punctured gas tank sounds really bad!
However I’m glad our budget is pretty normal compared to other RVers!
Good stuff! Thanks for sharing the details of your travels this year. We look forward to seeing more in the future. Curious, when you replaced your bent axle on the Jayco, did you opt to pay the additional cost for a larger axle? Asking for a friend LOL
Haha I wish that would’ve been an option! I don’t think you can get a bigger axle on this trailer without redoing a bunch of the frame and wheel wells etc
So it comes out to roughly a dollar a km ....65,000 km
Haha yeah I guess so! Never thought of it that way
Have been watching your video for a while. Started from the Newfoundland episode. We did not get to Newfound this time and plan to go next year. Really liked your comments on getting to grow together in such a limited space. Look forward to your future episode.
CANADA, USA, MEXICO $67K 🎉Epic🎉 you did good👍🏆🐕🐕🐕‼️ we have gone on half that distance, just staying in Canada and spent about $9k/gas in 6 months so it is what it is and the memories are beautiful❤ me and hubby think the best thing we have ever done for our marriage is go for big trips(5-6month/30,000km) in the rv! Thx for bring us along!🙋♀️🇨🇦❤️‼️
Yes!!! It’s definitely been such a good thing for our relationship! Everyone should try it haha !
