Thanks guys....I bought a home in San Felipe 18 months ago for retirement and your video is making me want to retire earlier. Oh well...5 more years, working in Seattle
It's always pretty nerve-racking when you arrive at a road with a trailer and you're not sure exactly where it goes. 😁 I think getting stuck is a Baja rite of passage. I've lost count of how many vehicles we've helped out of the sand, but it's definitely over 20. That was a sweet hike you did. Too bad we missed that one!
Another entertaining video, well done. Sorry to see the water tank issue. You are correct that strap should have been held on with a nut and bolt. I carry a bottle jack from Canadian Tire, that would allow you to lift that strap into position and reattach it. I would add a couple more straps under that tank when you get back home. If I recall you have a very large fresh water tank in your RV…..50 gal ? So over 400 lbs ! Some trailer manufactures suggest draining the tank while travelling. Not practical if your boon docking ! Stay safe !
This is the first blog of yours I’ve seen. Your production value is high. There is a lot of different content here. You could probably have broken this up into three shorter ones. I don’t often even select videos over 20 minutes much less stick with them. I’m glad I did. Look forward to the next one.
Ive been enjoying your videos as we're planning a cross country this summer. Starting in Victoria, spending time in Newfoundland an everywhere in between. I see you have a cell booster. Have you done a review? I would value your opinion on how useful they are.
Thanks for watching! We have a weboost but honestly since we got Starlink we barely use the cell booster. There might be some occasions where we might use it again, such as being in a forested area where Starlink doesn’t work. But in general we mostly stick with Starlink
Hi Mike, I've been following your videos and they've all been interesting to me. And I would like to know if this type of trailer is necessary to use the stabilizer bars and what is the most comfortable speed driving on the highway. The reason I'm asking is because I'm going to pick mine up at the dealership in a few days. I would appreciate your reply.thank you.
Thanks for watching! Whether or not you need sway bars depends on what type of tow vehicle you have. What are you towing with? We have a 2017 ford f150 with 3.5 ecoboost and don’t use any sway bars or weight distribution. Works fine for us. We usually tow at a max speed of 60-65mph.
Hey guys, a tip for you: show less of yourselves driving. We know what you look like. Point the camera forward. Show the road, the country and the scenery. The video is really boring otherwise. Have fun!!

Ahahaha getting stuck being a rite of passage is a good way to look at it ! 😂

Hey thanks a lot we really appreciate it! Nice to know that even though our videos can be long, they are still entertaining. Lots more to come! Cheers
Really enjoy your videos! Thanks for making it possible for me to live the road travel life vicariously through you guys! 😂
Cheers thanks for watching!
awesome video mam.....
Great video. Those fish tacos looked amazing! How is the price of gas in Mexico, by the way?
We’ve had lots of amazing tacos here! Gas is slightly cheaper than USA/Canada but not by much. I’d say maybe 10-15% cheaper at most
Love your videos, keep posting! What was that awesome beach you stayed at in/near San Felipe? Do you have the GPS coordinates or name?
If you have the iOverlander app, take a look slightly above San Felipe on the map, the spot is called “by the sea” . Thanks for watching !
@@LetsJustGoTravel you guys are awesome, we also follow Home A Roam. Must be my Canadian root eh.

@@LetsJustGoTravel i have a dodge 4.7. thank you for answering
Enjoy your vlogs but consider getting some microphones and wind socks. Can't hear Mike most the time in ghe vehicle.
Thanks for the feedback! I’ll try to tweak the audio better next time. We mostly film on our phones but maybe I can look into better audio solutions
Bummer. You can travel with empty tanks as much as possible. Try getting fresh water near your camp stops.
A trailer limits where u can go. Except for cities, all the roads are dirt. Watch out for huge pot holes and dont drive at night.
What all did you need to cross the border?
You need your passport and the FMM! We made another whole video on everything you need to know in order to RV in Mexico. Check it out!
Does anybody know what kind of suspension and tires that they use?
What’s your MPGs?
Not great… maybe 8-11mpg depending on head winds and how many mountain passes we go through.
Turn down the music......please!
Really.. you couldn't fine anything on baja. There thousands of videos on RUclips. Be real
