- A spontaneous afternoon Techno jam with the newest Behringer synthesizers:
on Drums we have the Kobol sampled and played on the Push2 in an Ableton Drumrack.
The Bassline is also the Kobol receiving a sequence via Midi and modulated live by Hannes.
The UB-Xa fills the gaps. Here I specially tried to use it in split mode in order to see how the arpeggiator feels during a live jam.

First off, Happy New Year to you guys. Wow, what a great jam. First one I've listened to in the new year, and it was very satisfying, every minute of it. The Kobol and the UB-Xa will be added to my set in the second quarter. All my money this year belongs to the Behringer team. Techno but with a soul!
Wow loving the disco percussion from the kobal. I have 9-10 behringers. Want the solina and the ubxa, does the fast attack give the kobal a sonic advantage on making beats and percussion? That kick drum sounds great. Especially through ableton!!
The Envelopes are nicely fast and it has a lot of patching possibilities. Combined with the resonant filter you have a perfect percussion voice. But in any case I will stick to my B2600! 🤖
@@winesynths ahh thank you. Yes i have a 2600 as well. Of them all its probably the one i have utilized the least. Hearing this makes me feel better, i have not used the 2600 for percussion yet. Was slightly feeling like im missing out seeing that kobal, but after having 9-10 pieces from them already, and knowing i want to add the solina and the ub-xa, im trying to not get gassed on stuff aside from my targets. Behringer is making that tough tho! Lol originally i was holding out for the cs-80 and jupiter clones and then was gonna call my studio complete (out side of pedals and effects of course) but i keep adding stuff and my studio is like yours (very full) which by the way, i wanted to say….its nice to see you 1. Actually work in the studio! Lets me see how you work in the real environment. I respect that. Also, its refreshing not to just see the gear on a table alone for a demo with a voice over! Lol all that is cool but everyone does the same thing i noticed. You roll in a actual studio and which is just way more relatable to me. Thank you so much for the honesty. The kobal is cool, and maybe in the future but i already have 19 or so synths and about 5 sampler drum machines, so i try to be pinpoint at this stage. Lol my 32nd year doing music now. :)
