- VCFD Station 41- E41, T41, SQ41 rolling out on the ramp the morning of September 11, 2011, before honoring the victims and heroes of 9/11. New T41 responding in Simi, along with E41 and SQ41, E43, Q44, RE144, E45, E46, SQ34, and B4.
A lady once complained about how loud the sirens were on a firetruck at night when she was trying to sleep, the chief told her the sirens may wake up her up, but she can go right back to bed, while the fire fighters have to stay up all night. Thanks for all firefighters and service men! I will be starting training to be a volunteer fire fighter soon, can't wait to join the brotherhood! This was a fantastic video BTW I've watched it at LEAST 15 times and it never gets old! Thank you so much!
Wow, that has made me fill up here back in England, I am an EMT and I have the upmost admiration for all you guys/gals serving your country.
At 2:25 Love seeing Police and Fire working together. Despite the ball busting rivalry, they're always there to help one another.
Glenn- thanks for sharing this with me. Glad he enjoys the videos and good luck to him in his future!
Firemen and rescue members as well as Police officers who died on 9/11 are the people
who must be honoured the most.I am not an American but I salute all these men and women who died on duty while trying to save lives from a situation they could not even imagine.
Rest in Peace heroes!
Rude comments??? Hey, perfect music to that awesome tribute!!!! Best Regards from your German friends. God Bless America!!!
Man that Tiller ladder is impressive !! I wish we had them in New Zealand !!
You're right about that. The video brings me to tears. I was a hotshot and engine crewman on the Angeles NF, Helitack Foreman on the Mt. Hood NF, in wildfire in many more places and was Battalion Chief for a fire district in WA. Once you are a firefighter you are always a firefighter no matter what other field you work in. Only a firefighter can understand another firefighter.
We thank you. With so many videos posted here in youtube, it is nice to have at least one that makes our little guy happy to watch.
I've watched this video over a dozen times now and it still blows me away on such a great job you did editing all this! I mean somehow the sirens and horns synchronize with the music! Just beautiful, an amazing tribute to firefighters. I don't know what else to add to show how much I love this video! Even ten years later it hits me and reminds me of what happened. I'm in Canada but that does not mean we don't care! I remember watching the news and seeing everything happen. Again, great video
This was an awesome video! I love that Rescue/Paramedic Truch with the LEDs and the really fast Yelp when it comes to the intersections! The music was just awesome and fit perfectly! This has to be my favorite compilation i've ever seen on youtube! Nice Job!
Amazing video. I tear up every time I see it as I remember my brother and sister firefighters on 9-11-11. I was a firefighter for 19 years, mostly wildland. I survived the Loop Fire in 1966 but lost 12 friends. It's the best job in the world and the brother/sisterhood includes everone who is or hase been a firefighter.
i wont post a comment evvery time i watch this video, but ive watched this more than 10 times in the last week,so so so moving.at a point when i am going through a personal tragedy in my life, this video and the music, (which incidentialy is well balanced against the sirens etc. ) makes me cry,,all 6ft 1 and 18 stone of me ..thankyou for such a wonderful tribute and a darned good video as well
Hello I am Sandy. Thanks Joe for uploading this video, it very touched the hearts of all those who remember the tragedy on 9/11. I am not an American, I am from Australia but I remember the incident when I was 11 years old and watching the live broadcast on television. I cry to see this video so many heroes sacrificed their lives for helping others. RIP to all the victims at that time. Good video Joerider41, I love and watch over and over again. Respect from me Sandy and God Bless Us.
You guys are awesome .. we appreciate all the work you do.. God bless you all and we will remember !!
Brilliant video and it's shows respect to all the fire service in and around new York that lost there life's on 9-11 thank for a brilliant service.
This movie brings everything that my 2-year-old son expects from a good movie. It is packed with rushing fire trucks, sirene signals and blinking lights. 5/5
All clips were of units responding, except the first one. On the 10th anniversary of 9/11 all stations in Ventura County began their morning with pulling their rigs out on the stations' ramps, followed by a memorial.
the song is called The Guardian Suite (Score Version) by Trevor Rabin from the movie The Guardian
Makes me a proud citizen, God bless and keep our firefighters safe.
How could anyone possibly dislike a 9/11 tribute video?! I'd be more than happy to help them get to a border so that they could get out of the United States. I was fighting back the urge to start bawling through this entire video. Agreed that the video and music fit together perfectly. Thank you so much for posting this.
WE WILL NEVER FORGET!
VERY respectful for the men and women of September 11th. I've watched this video several times and still tear up at the beginning! Great job catching the roll out...
This has got to be one of the best tributes ever by a fire department. They fly the flag while responding to calls. That how it's done in America. I'm favoriting this video, it's means so much.
My hats off! Rest in piece to all those who lost their lives that dreadful day. Firefighters, Police, and EMS and let us not forget the brave on the front lines, or troops. You are the real Heroes. God Bless and God Speed.
Wow, just seen your video. Wish I seen this a long time ago. Great job with the editing and great music. Love that song from the movie the guarding and plan to join the USCG!! Keep up the great videos!!!!
I think this is how Fire Departments should be represented! This is such a fantastic video! Keep them coming!
Nice tribute at the start and kudos to the police officer at 2:31 blocking traffic for the fire department

I don't understand why people have to leave rude statements, I guess they just plain ignorant! As for me, as well as others, like Our Fathers, and Grandfathers, it was Pearl Harbor, 7th December 1941, Our Pearl Harbor Day is 11 September 2001, when many members of the New York City Fire Department lost their lives while trying save others, very much like all FF do everyday of the year. God Bless them all, and stay safe. Great Video, Thank you!
When most people hear those sirens they think of how annoying they are; when I hear them I move, not because the law tells me to, no, but because the men and women in that truck are going off to risk their lives for someone they might not even know.
I do not yet know what I will do later in life, but a firefighter is a option I am looking at. My Grandpa was one as is my dad. Most teens wake up and think about their day and how their hair looks, I wake up thankful that my dad and his crew returned safely from another day at work.
Rest in peace 343.
I love this comment.
The bravest on their way to their main mission; Saving lives. Rest In Peace America's heros.
Awesome video - very heartwarming! To all the men and women firefighters, paramedics, and emt's all over the world - stay safe, thank you, and God Bless!

That was awsome that the cop stopped and turned on his/her lights at that intersection to help get more peoples attention. I love when the brothers in blue and the brothers in red work together to help eachother respond safely to a call

I Can Remember 9/11/2001 Just like it was Yesterday
So Many Innocent Lives Taken Away By Such A Tragic Day

@ifightfire51 This is a paid, full time career department. VCFD covers about 850 square miles, 6 cities and the unincorporated areas of the county, with 31 (soon to be 32) fire stations responding to over 32,000 incidents per year.
Thank you very much!
the song is called The Guardian Suite (Score Version) by Trevor Rabin from the movie The Guardian
For me as a Danish citizen, the tractor drawn aerial ladder trucks are the epitome of American fire apparatus. They seem to be practical and beautiful at the same time. I really enjoy watching Tiller Trucks while they are responding. Thank you for your upload @JoeRaider41 !
One work, but in the world are all rescue heroes, thank you
This was all in Simi Valley, which is served by the Ventura County Fire Department
I salute these warriors.
jerks in vehicles don't give a shit if they see a fire truck with siren and lights on and think they are to cool to stop and that is 1 thing I hate about people on the road out there
God bless our country and our men and women in the armed forces -jr at a vfd in new york🚒🚒🙏🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
+Bill Caravan Ventura County, California (Southern California)

Merci pour
what siren is on the hook n ladder?
The real heroes of society. Can never thank these brave men and women enough. I hope I someday get to repay them for what they do. All firefighters in America and around the world we love you. I have to say also that those firetrucks are beautiful, I love the yellow trucks.
I just had tears in my eyes! Beautiful video!
Next time I visit the station I will try to ask them. Do you know at which part in the video you are asking about T41 because they got a new truck last year and there are clips with both the old and new T41?
Who hates our first responders, they save us
I'm sure you could have a great career even over there, good luck! I am 16 and live in the USA, and am in the junior program at my fire department. I've been in for 2 years, and have been responding for about a year now. I've loved every moment of it.
Respect all the way!!
Amazing video. One of the best i've seen for all the firefighting videos ive come across. Good work
4:40 that's the correct way to go through a red light in an emergency vehicle
Very Impressive to all my brothers & sisters that lost their lives in the line of duty especially on 09/11 & all the members of the armed services who paid the ultimate sacrifice I sat ty & I salute you all!!!!
Perfect music!
I am not American, but I realize that fire-fighters round the world are all heroes. We all owe our lives to them.
info for light interceptors will be oncoming, been away will send it via private email, awsome job gentlemen, respect
Have you heard about the vcfd fire fighter who was killed in action....so sad😢🚒
Yes I have heard about the sad and tragic news. The Ventura County Fire Department lost Fire Engineer Ryan Osler on Wednesday, September 21, 2016. Engineer Osler worked at Station 42 in Moorpark and will be missed greatly. From everything I've seen with this department in the last 3 weeks, he has truly brought this department closer and they will never forget his sacrifice, nor will they let his family be forgotten.
