I didn't know that the end was a dueling solo between Christian and Steffen; I guess that shows how underrated of a lead guitarist Steffen is.
Steffen soloing on Forsaken and A Valediction songs. He has more skill than he seems
Check his playthrough videos and discography of Obscura. He is completely a lead guitarist too for one of most difficult genre, technical death metal.
I don't see how's he's underrated. People knows he's a badass.... I think the problem is people don't know what the word underrated means.
I don't think anyone involved in the tech death scene considers Steffen to be an underrated guitarist; he is one of the top references in his genre.
Christian is a true inspiration to all guitarists out there. Despite his condition of focal dystonia, he doesn't just play metal; he plays TECH DEATH! What an awesome guy. Can you imagine how many hours he must have practiced? Such a number is unimaginable.
The Bark at the Moon homage always give me goosebumps! Two very talented musicians here.

This song will always give me goosebumps... First show after Covid march 2022 drove from Montreal to Ottawa in a tiny bar to watch Obscura. Around 80 people including the staff, but I had the blast of my life and this was the opener. I'm grateful that they still played, they probably lost money that night🤘
Super cool to see the playthrough but I wish there were less shaky cam and fewer cuts. The aggressive editing gets in the way of the playing IMO

I gotta admit, I have mixed feelings about the vid. Love the song, and obviously Steffen and Christian are demigods of shred, but as a 'playthrough' it just sounds like the album track with the vocals muted, and not a live playthrough.
