I bought a PC monitor not too long ago because I'm about to build my first PC. While assembling the parts on the monitor and moving it onto my desk, I got all my fingerprints all over the screen. I was unsure how to clean that, but one thing I was certain about is that I can't be careless about how I clean my monitor. So, the tutorial really helped.
Make sure you designate the micro towel for screen cleaning only and don't use it for cleaning other surfaces. Make sure the towel and screen doesn't have any small sand grit or other particles stuck that could end up ruining the screen. I usually designate one color micro towel for cleaning LCD screens, and other colors for glass or shelves. This way it prevents cross contaminating, picking up chemicals/cleaning solution residue left over from other surfaces.

Sometimes when I turn it on at the very bottom of the screen it glitches like if it’s broken or something it only does it for a few seconds then it stops and sometimes it turns off by itself for like 2 seconds then turns back on. It doesn’t happen very often. Am I gonna have to buy a new monitor or is it gonna be ok?

Always cleaned my LCD screens with alcohol and a microfiber cloth. One of my monitors is an old 20 inch Dell LCD from the mid-2000s. Still looks great. I've never, ever had one start to crack or look bad with alcohol. It may be theoretically possible, I'm definitely not accusing you of lying, but it's honestly never been my experience with isoprophyl alcohol.

It wouldn’t have been the cloth or the cleaning method. The only way that could have happened is if there was a hard small fine piece of something stuck in your cloth when you wiped the screen. That small piece of debris would have done the scratching.

Thanks for your instruction. Previouly I made a mistake and used 75% isopropyl alcohol with microfiber wipe on my monitor. LG support teams warn me that it's forbidden to use the cleanser with alcohol. Usually I only need to wet half of the wipe and clean the screen. It would not damage the screen severely if I only use the alcohol once.
can you please tell me if that type of cleaning takes off some marks that looks like a straight line, its not a cut but it doesnt leave with normal metods

You may want to get that looked at by your local computer repair guy👍
Just buy a new one save the $80 you'd pay the PC guy just to look at it and tell you it has some damage to it

level two was good enough for me, just make sure you dry the fibercloth as much as possible else it will leave water marks on your screen
