Schermermolens

A visit to the Schermer Museum-Mill in Holland on a very windy Summer day.
These mills were used to pump water out of the polders and thus to obtain new dry land.
The mill in this museum dates from early 17th century and is still completely functional. They did not use plastic back in those days you see ;-)
