A quiet spot, just 100 meters away of the crowded market of Sittard. It is now dedicated to the cities greatest poet, Charles Beltjens, who here met his great love in her father's garden. But even the poet being his friend, the father was not in favour of a marriage. And so was the cause of many sad but beautiful poems....

Just take some basic measure and you know perfectly well if something is going to fit you or not. And you can always make up a story in the shop that you are buying a surprise for your girl-friend ;-)

De Zaanse Schans is located in Holland a little bit north of Amsterdam, it is part of the Zaan-region. This was the main industrial region in Holland from the 17th till the late19 th century. A visit to the Schermer Museum-Mill in Holland on a very windy Summer day. These mills were used to pump water out of the polders and thus to obtain new dry land. The mill in this museum dates from early 17th century and is still completely functional. The dresses all look terrific, but lose the boots. They take away from the look of the dresses.
Is wearing those boots with trousers that day. And I agree, it is not the optimal combination with a dress.

I can offer some other languages. German, Dutch, French and Spanish. But for Polish I also have to rely on google translate.

Our Queen came especially to Maastricht to open the new bulding where it is now in 1995. Given her interest in art it seems reasonable to expect a decent museum :-)

@@timwoolmore7996 Archery....? Well, that is even more English than drinking tea! (or driving on the wrong side of the road ;-) ) My favourite shooting was always percussion revolvers. Very dirty, big and clumsy, but fun! My speciality was always French history, but that is nor to say that it is my sole interest. And you know what the great thing is about history? You get more of it, every day, for free!

This one was especially about the artistic process of decorating. Totally absorbed in the job :-)
