- Maine Coon cats Buster and Freya are exploring the forest on this beautiful day at the end of winter. The sun is shining, their tails are fluffy and a gentle breeze tickles their whiskers. The day can not be more perfect than this!

Seems like Freya is getting a bit braver this trip. Not sticking quite as close to Buster. The forest was extra beautiful today for some reason. The light seemed different. Those 2 looked so cute sitting together. Had to laugh when they started washing opposite Paws at the exact same time. Mirror images.
Perhaps the sunlight is coming from a good angle at this time of year or something?
In the middle of winter it barely reaches the forest floor and in the summer it is very direct and strong. It is perfect now!

I'm surprised he doesn't run away when he's not on a leash. I can tell that he has a lot of trust with his owner.

What a lovely video, stunning Maine Coons and beautiful scenery, I noticed how they did not stray too far from their loving guid.
Probably because they were terrified, didn't want to be put in such a dangerous position, and wanted to stay close to the person who was safe!
The gray cat is EXCEPTIONALLY well camouflaged for the area s/he is In!
Never heard of Maine Coon cats. Learning. RIP Bianci my neighborhood rescue cat. She gave us 5 years of joy once we took her indoors. Thanks for taking us on your field trip. 😺

What wondrous, powerful creatures! So regal and noble. Maine Coons in their native environment of the northern forests. Freya absolutely adores Buster and Buster is a fine mentor. Adorable and purposeful all at the same time. Will Caesar soon join them in the forest?
It will take some more time until Caesar will join the others, but I will try to get him used to going outside when he is a bit older!

You live in a beautiful place! Always makes me smile and happy seeing Buster and of course Freya too. The trackers are great, I used them too the first few years for our coonies. Was reassuring to know where their hunting ground is.
Yes, they are perfect for this.
I don't think I would release the cats like this without them.
But I have never had to actually use them because they never run away 😅

Little Miss Independence there! Their paths seems to be something of a double helix, lots of twisting and crossing over. Luna may feel differently about going to the forest once she is older. She’s had a pretty busy life for one so young…🇨🇦💕

They have GPS trackers as an extra safety in case they would run away (it has never happened, but still). Check the video description if you want to know more about the trackers 🙂
