This is exactly what I’m about to do. My passenger side headlight got broken & I ordered a new one to replace it with but I didn’t know I would have to remove the bumper in order to replace it.. I feel like I shouldn’t have any problem getting it changed out tho now. All thanks to you Fine Sir!! I truly appreciate you sharing your knowledge with us!! You Are The Man!
Great video but I have a question I'm replaceing my bumper and I have the parkassist package on my 2016, do the sensors need to be removed or are they mounted separately and slide out easly? Also is removing the grill and parking lights need any extra tools?
They mount separately and comes out individually and as for the grill and bumper it’s the regular standard number 6,7 socket. You will see whenever you take it off
Hey just wondering if you have any idea why mine might not be working the bulb is perfectly fine just put a brand new one in on the right side. It stopped working after a minor accident very little damage in the front end. Basically I fell asleep at the wheel in a construction zone and hit an entire line of cones they all got stuck under the car and a lot of plastic covers got ripped off from under the car. I brought it to two different AutoZone‘s and both of them put a brand new bulb in the right side headlight it will not work at all whatsoever after the accident. I’ve been dealing with only having 1 light working in the front for many months now and i basically avoid driving at night now it really sucks
Make sure the bulb is screw in the socket properly or Check the fuse. If that doesn’t work order a new light or an aftermarket one. It’s not safe driving with just one light preventions is better than the cure so plz order a new light
Very good video. This is what you have to do to replace a broken headlight assembly. I tried, but couldn't do it by myself. Had to have a dealer do it. But now...?
Sorry I didn’t upload this video before you take it to the dealership because they could be very expensive. This is one of the reasons why i deside to start uploading these videos to help you guys out
@@BumperdoorDIY my son has a 2016 that a tree fell on and I would really like to diy it, I have ordered a fender so I guess I will let a shop put it on. Nice vids.
