    Kevin Sinfield is a superhero. As a Hull FC fan, both him and Rob have been responsible for more loses for my team than I’d like to admit, but I still can’t have anything but respect for the pair of them.

    Used to like Greenwood when he played, probably the best centre England have had in the modern era. He would have made it as a league player too, he was always a big fan of RL too. Kev an absolute legend though.

Unbelievable... Maybe one day they will ..I pray for Rob Burrow ... The best Little 5 ft 5 player on the Leeds Rhinos.was him.... JEFF FROM NY ...

    Gents, thank you. We lost a good mate here in Edinburgh to MND who was the same age as me, who played football and raced go karts with me. You're right - it is a cruel disease.
    Very well done Sir - your efforts are appreciated and admired.

    The word legend is used a lot but is rarely justified. In Kevs case it’s is not a strong enough word. He has shown his class and utter selflessness in doing what he has done and will continue to do fir Rob. Surely he has to be knighted for his service to Rugby League and to his friends.

    Ridiculous. If charity is the goal, support and interview a man who does something for 24 hours which helps people, or at least is sensible,
    instead of putting himself within an inch of hospitalization and early onset arthritis. Work a 24 hour shift in a homeless shelter, care home,
    cleaning hospital wards, or an orphanage. Pathological charity culture, lead by the media, lapped up by a TV indoctrinated public.

    • @bacaro_surrey
      @bacaro_surrey Год назад

      You've included some big words in your comment to validate your opinion, which don't get me wrong you're entitled to. However, you cannot use the word 'ridiculous' in the context of Kevin Sinfield, especially in what he's done here. This man is anything but.
      It's crazy to run 7 in 7, it's a mammoth undertaking and to be fair, it's unachievable for almost everyone. That's exactly what makes it so special.
      Charity, in any context is good but this is the definition of a cause close to heart. There simply can be no criticism in this scenario mate.
      Kevin is an absolute legend on and off the pitch!

    • @dalenewton9697
      @dalenewton9697 Год назад

      @@bacaro_surrey Yeah 'crazy' is definitely one way to sum this up. Just try and take an emotional step back and look at it from rational point of view. 'If charitable work were the overriding goal here, then the sane thing to do would be work a 24 hour shift in a homeless shelter, or a care home,
      or cleaning hospital wards, or working in an orphanage, or working in a rehabilitation centre (like I do sometimes with a group of friends, providing musical relief to the elderly and disabled in centres where we live!), or whatever. Make it a week long if you really want to 'punish' yourself. People putting themselves within an inch of hospitalization like this is pathological, arguably irresponsible, charity culture, fuelled by a click-driven media, consumed by a rather mindless public I'm afraid. This is not an observation about this particular individual (I don't know him personally so couldn't say, and he looks a genuine enough, kind man, notwithstanding my thoughts on the actual activity), but the reality is that a lot of celebrities who pull these kinds of stunts are doing it for the attention and their own publicity and there arecertainly better, more productive, healthier ways to raise money.

    • @Ts3cooper
      @Ts3cooper Год назад

      @@dalenewton9697but he’s not just doing general charity work mate, he’s doing it to raise awareness and funding to MND which his best friend has. Context does matter here the ‘crazier’ the feat puts more eyes on the charity making it more money to research MND

    • @dalenewton9697
      @dalenewton9697 Год назад

      @@Ts3cooper Yeah I agree the self-sacrifice element attracts attention which leads more people to donate ultimately,so I can understand the benefit for his personal cause.
