I never knew of that Emily interaction if you take over the guy, it's actually kind of cute that she is immediately like "Oh Corvo you have magic, lemme leave now"

What makes me feel even worse is that the second he pulled out the gun to alert the guards, I killed him without hesitation then I paused it and thought about what I had done, what i had become...
I just finished the “mostly flesh and steel” “high chaos” run and let me tell you, Samuel at the end made me feel really guilty. But he didint alert the guards

I love how you get bad karma for killing a guy outright, but if you brand him, make him an outcast, and let him spend his last days alone in a landfill until he becomes a mindless husk, you get good karma.
Well, if you kill him, no one knows of his crimes, and you prove you’re the murdering vengeance assassin they said you were. If you brand him, then everyone knows he breaks the strictures all the time and is generally evil.
@@somedude6833 there's evidence that he did things he shouldn't have, rather than using some societal norm that allows just about anybody to be an outcast. I love trolling The Lord Regent by releasing his confession, then knocking out the guards who go to arrest him. Lethal is cool and all, but doing ghost merciful makes me feel cool, y’know? I wish the high chaos lighthouse mission was the norm though, it’s just so fun.
I guess I'm the only one that enjoys the low chaos version of that mission, is fun to fight havelock in that dining room, and having him shoot himself with the fire in the background is reall cool
I worked as a security guard/supervisor at night, and the banter sometimes between the guards... pretty on point. Just casually talking about the weak spots to the building and stupid crap like that. "I don't even know why I bother, anyone can just get in for free if they go around us 20 feet". lol
It's kinda funny that going all out is the best way to play a stealth game. Actuality, on Thief i got predator rank on all levels except the haunted mansion one i was like: mom come pick me up I'm scared
Not only does corvo canonically expose the lord regent, after the game corvo is the executioner for the lord regents lawful execution. So either way, corvo canonically kills the lord regent
Excuse me, dark vision is not baby mode, it’s “How the hell was I supposed to notice the coins behind the trash can why did you go to the effort to put those there” mode

Dishonored also has this neat little thing called the Void. The Void is the only afterlife there is, and it's essentially hell. When you die, you either get your soul erased from existence or you suffer terrible torture in the Void and THEN get erased.
