@@delphicdescant it's fun with patience and a way of playing, like playing with not being seen and no kills can be harder and more frustrating (though if you have a plan to get through it's fun) but just no kills don't care if you are spotted isn't bad
It takes some time to do though, and is harder than just doing kill only though for sure

When he sat behind that guard at the end just frantically blocking instead of choking out that guard, I felt that.
The amount of times I've done that is so damn annoying
And then they just turn around randomly and attack you. It was when I realized how broken that mechanic is I gave up on non lethal. The broken choke and limited sleep darts are the only ways to knock someone out. It's nonsense.

One of my favorite things about these games is how the non-lethal option is usually way more fucked up than just killing them.
My favorite is in the second game with the inventor guy. You can kill him or turn him into a dullard who remembers just enough of how smart he once was that he begs you to kill him. It's great, fuck that guy! :D

Knife of Dunwall and Brigmore Witches (Dishonored DLC) are basically the second Dishonored game, so if you're planning on continueing the series, highly recommend you play them

Ah Susan Saradon as Granny Rags I always forget, but always a pleasant surprise. Speaking of voice acting I was LMAO when the horde of rats cried out "Hey that's the guy who killed Frank and Harry!" "Let's get'm bois!" all cried out "Eeyaahh!" As always amazing work!

One fun thing about a low-chaos playthrough is that once you get to Kingsparrow, you've already unlocked the low chaos ending. You can just commit every violation imaginable on the guards there and nothing would change.

Now that Dishonored 1 & 2 and Prey are both on GamePass, I hope more people play them and realize what an AMAZING developer Arkane is.
They're the modern inheritors of the immersive sim genre imo. I love the Thief DLC mission in the first Dishonored because it's like a self-conscious nod to their legacy and influences.
@@spiraljumper74 I LOVED the Thief games (except the reboot that just made Garrett a klepto) and playing this felt like I was a kid playing The Metal Age again. Even tho its clearly not the same it still brought back those memories.

To me, The Outsider is the most intriguing eldritch being in media. Neither good nor evil, only giving his mark to those who he takes interest in, not taking sides, and looking for a good show

- Do not get the upgrade that turns bodys to ash.
- Kill all of his assassins.
- Spare Daud by sneaking and taking his purse that has a key and rune, without him realizing.
- Move on.
Consider that Daud trained and taught each of his members similar to Billie or to a lesser extent, he still has a decent amount of trust for them.
Imagine him realizing that everything is quiet, to quiet... besides the sound of rats problaby... finding the remains of all his assassins, and realizing that his missing an important key. The key Corvo needed to leave this place. And that he is left alive, knowing how a single man wiped his best assassins, arguebly the most dangerous people in Dunwall, and let the most dangerous assassin live, to know he was both outplayed and would be outskilled by him if he fought head-on.
This to me is the True High Chaos move since it also acts as Poetic "Justice".
That's the kind of thing I did after playing through DIshonored like 12 times. You gotta make your own fun and get creative you know?

I remember playing Dishonored for the 1st time. Sluggning along Dunwall eleminating the traitors who dishonored me. Boy those were the days.
Glad you did a no kill run (: . It honestly feels like how it is meant to be played, high chaos is sorta just... kill everything in your path. Being stealthy feels more rewarding with the alternate ways to "take them out".
I don't remember it being so black and white in the endings but i guess it really do be like that lol.

Realize that I'm super late to the party here, but this is literally my favorite game of all time. For those who don't know, this game has a couple A-list stars. Susan Sarandon is Granny Rags, and Michael Madsen is the assassin who killed the Empress

Dishonored deserves a movie
It is an underrated game in a world of Online Video Games, with ultra realistic graphics and dance Emotes and weapons painted in ridiculous ways.
Almost no one is interested in Games like this anymore, with a serious Plot, With Comic-style graphics

Fun fact! At 16:03 the painting from the start normally does show the drink he stole from the table, so him noting that the drink didn't appear is actually due to him taking it and isn't a coincidence
I actually love that you immediately replayed it to get the good ending. I did the exact same thing the first time I beat it. Had high chaos by the end, hated the ending, replayed the entire game going full ghost to get the best ending, all in the same night I beat it the first time. Was the first time I'd ever done that with a game, and watching you do it brought back pleasant memories of it!
