- 01-19-2019, I got to operate this massive 1953 Union Pacific EMD E8 Locomotive at The Southern California Railway Museum formerly known as the Orange Empire Railway Museum, thank you to my wife Gail for the footage of the outside. Horsepower: 2250, Top Speed: 100MPH Thank you for watching & please subscribe. Website for the museum is socalrailway.org/
I remember standing next to this exact same locomotive when I visited this place back in January with my dad
Oh Ya! that's right, I herd they opened back up again, maybe I will check it out for the 3 day weekend (4th of July)
Excellent coverage. Love and greetings from a new friend of Bangladesh.🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩
Thank you very much 👍😎

Thank you for watching, it was a fun experience 👍😎
Love this 😀 ❤️
Looks like it just left E.M.D.
Ya it's really clean, thank you for watching Arnold 😎👍
Interesting on the sprayed "MAX SPEED 79 MPH" wording on the dashboard (time stamp 1:27) . I'm assuming that either the unit was geared down during an overhaul years back or management simply had that posted since 79mph is the stop speed on the majority of Class 1 track, outside of the NEC, in the USA.
Ya & I don't think they would even get close to 79 MPH on the museum tracks. Thank you for stopping buy Tony 👍😎
@@EdWhizAviationTrains Thank you for sharing your video. So cool seeing this beautiful classic in action.

Hello Mike, it was approx. the length of a football field for the ride but of course the whole track is a lot longer. Thank you for watching 👍😎
What's with all the squeaking?
That sounded terrible.
Old train.
