This is in my top5 on RUclips @DIYDanie I love your greenhouse, and the thought and care of your Father in Law. Seeing through the greenhouse, door to back fence, 🤔 maybe a lattice fence a foot away as a backdrop for climbing veg or flowers 🌺
During lockdown we built a hobby greenhouse for similar size. I’ve learned several lessons about how to make it more useable when the greenhouse isn’t climate controlled. I’d recommend insulating the lower wood sections of your greenhouse and also recommend creating a system for a shade tarp over the roof and maybe the south side in the summer. Adding thermal mass in the form of stone or water will help manage heat and cold swings and extend your growing season. You might consider this when creating your rain storage system, if it could be routed into tanks under the potting benches it will help keep inside temps more consistent year round. Just some suggestions based on what I’ve learned the past three years in a climate with hot summers and cold winters. You won’t have tomatoes and orange trees in there, but I’ve been able to keep cold tolerant plants growing through the entire winter. I’ve enjoyed this series so much and everything looks so beautiful!
I throw a 90 percent shade cloth on top of my greenhouse in the summer and I have so much ventilation with so many open windows that I use it as a relaxing space. My windows have screens so no bugs get in and I have peppermint oil sprayed all over since mice and rodents hate it.
YES! Not painting in white is a great idea. The of the doors and the wood, make it ‘feel’ so warm and calm. Yay Danie. It is looking more and more beautiful!

Iove it! A little armchair, a table a shelf for books, cups, tea, water boiler, a top to the bath top to put blankets an kushins in ther, light, a little fridg ...that is what I would put in there,..a little rescue room. This is so nice and Vicent is proud of you , I am pretty sure.

So beautiful. My favorite was the overall style and decor, the tub is genius and the lighting, signs, sunflowers, windows, shelves, seed boxes, rustic look, location in your garden, I don't have the imagination or vision to create such a thoughtful and loving memoriam to your stepdad.
Smaller green houses are easier to keep themselves warm. _Especially,_ during our cold Canadian winters! Looks frickin; fantastic Danie. You guys really, honestly did an amazing job. Can't wait to see the 1st veggies you guys pull out this fall. _*SQUEAL!_ Suggestion for the ceiling of your brand new stunning greenhouse... what about running some wooden dowling for hanging plants? Plus, then you could make some hanging pot holders (that look like macrame but use an exterior yarn perhaps?) during the winter months for the spring! SO MUCH POTENTIAL!! Do NOT forget to add stools inside to sit on for summer morning coffee. 💕💕
This is whole project has given me butterflies in the tum tum. Seeing it coming together was such a burst of emotion I could cry. It’s the inspiration I needed to start planning for next year. I already picked up a free door on marketplace. Thanks Dani and take time to throughly enjoy your lovely space.

This greenhouse turned out even better than I thought it would. I could feel the peace and the love emanating from it through the screen. WOW! I'm actually in tears. You should be stratospheres and universes and galaxies beyond proud. When you first said you were going to put a greenhouse in the back yard, I expected some sort of "kit" with all the pieces you would then assemble. CLEARLY I forgot whose channel I was watching. Each video showed us more and more fabulousness, but my wildest imagination couldn't come up with the final result. All the treasures you found for the inside just put the icing on the cake. After reading many of the comments, I don't know what to add! This is such a wonderful build & tribute to your step-dad! You look so much like your mom, too! The one with the two of you hugging, that needs to be printed, framed & placed in the greenhouse. Maybe, too, as your Christmas cards this year(?)!!! In case you missed my one suggestion a bit ago, is to protect that gorgeous stain glass with an acrylic front. You don't want this to break from high winds, hail & flying debris [or monkeys ;) ]!!! I thought a chaise would be nice; it will become more of an oasis & how lovely to take a break and bask in all that beauty!! Enjoy your day & Vincenzo's Garden!!

your skills and talent are absolutely inspiring. if I had seen these videos as a teen, I definitely would have considered going into carpentry or contracting or something similar. just. wow.
After reading many of the comments, I don't know what to add! This is such a wonderful build & tribute to your step-dad! You look so much like your mom, too! The one with the two of you hugging, that needs to be printed, framed & placed in the greenhouse. Maybe, too, as your Christmas cards this year(?)!!!
In case you missed my one suggestion a bit ago, is to protect that gorgeous stain glass with an acrylic front. You don't want this to break from high winds, hail & flying debris [or monkeys ;) ]!!!
I thought a chaise would be nice; it will become more of an oasis & how lovely to take a break and bask in all that beauty!!

Wow! Now come to my house and replicate it exactly as is! What's not to love about this beautiful greenhouse?! When you asked what was our favorite part, I immediately thought it was the signage. Such a simple but powerful way to pay tribute to a great guy. May it bring you so much joy in the years to come!
