It's funny because at the beginning of the video, Danie was speaking French (saying "nuit" and "atelier" ) so this l'Occitane furniture was a good continuity.

Dani, my parents LOVE L’Occitane and their whole house is filled with knotty pine and black hardware, just like the style of that hutch before you DIY’d it (amazing DIY as always, by the way)! Do you have any idea where I could get a sign like that?? They have a very similar hutch and if my wood-soldering skills were better, I’d DIY it for them, but I’d love to get them a sign just like that to put on their own hutch!
Also, I believe the reason that hutch was so custom is because all of the L’Occitane stores have similar pieces designed for holding the merchandise. My local store back home had one nearly exactly like that and it was filled with soaps, gift boxes, and dried immortelle. If you haven’t been to a store, I highly recommend it, even if you don’t plan on buying anything. The stores themselves have such a wonderful feel to them, like you’re being transported to rural France!

I was just diagnosed with stage C heart failure, myxedema and have a host of other health issues and was getting all up in my feelings and did not like it one bit. My first video in my feed this morning was this amazing inspiration that could only come from you Danie. I can no longer work in my shop and create and do what I love but I CAN watch you and enjoy and love what you create. It is a feast to watch you. It is your voice, your enthusiasm, your creative side that always thinks outside the box, it is your words and the intuitive gift to know the right piece to work with along with your knowledge of, well, pretty much everything and some things that are just you to be found nowhere else. Looks so good. I think the drawers would be a bit more functional if they were regular drawers with a top for the flat lay. Something like the cutting boards in old kitchens.

Good morning, I see someone has a Lego collection. My grandson aka "Turtle" and I do the same. I just need a place to put them so they don't get messed up. Currently, I have them on a self in our playroom. Any suggestions? BTW I LOVE what you do, your amazing.
I can't remember in which of my decorating books I saw this, but I'm sure you could find an example online. It's called The Fitted Room. Everything in the room is built-in along the walls, leaving the center space open for, say, a dining table, or a bed, or a work table, or whatever you want. The walls are all wood, all in the Apothecary style. If I were a carpenter the fitted room would be my dream space. You could do this, that much is obvious. If you did it for yourself, you'd be able to live inside your talent. Reward enough. But since I know a shoemaker's children go barefoot, you'd probably do it for a client. For a very hefty price and some serious magazine coverage. Think Architectural Digest. Liked and subscribed. I have a passion for all things apothecary.
You don't do a very good job explaining what exactly you are doing, like I watch to try and learn how to make some of these things. You have great ideas and make beautiful pieces, I would like to try and follow along with some things.
