I'm so proud of Michael for making a career as a promising broadway director, but I would also DIE to see him perform in more shows. His voice is so magical.
It's easy to get the melodies and hit the notes with all the inflection and a nice delivery. The issue is that you gotta express the emotion as well. But that's the case with most I Want songs, the best part is that you don't have to go for his childlike innocence. If the issue is the key of the song, try finding a version in a higher or lower key :)
My GAWD, the one change in lyric brings tears to my eyes everytime I think of it. "I'll have LIVED one day, out there" instead of "spent" Because that ONE day as he's begging and bargaining for it, would be worth a lifetime of living to him that's how desperate he and how much it means to be out there for him.
I don’t remember how old I was when when I first met him but I can remember always believing he would someday be admired by the world for his talent. Even after he left to go to school elsewhere, I’ve followed his career and I love watching him sing.

@Marley Colin you are welcome =)
Michael Arden is an icon. And His Quasimodo will always be my favorite
This is not an easy song to sing. He’s so great 😊

Michael Arden is my musical crush.
I absolutely adore his voice.
Feel blessed that my favorite Disney movie has this guy singing songs from it.

Michael Arden is spectacular! But oh my, THAT PIANIST THOOOOO! Ripping through those keys like that!!! WHAT AN AMAZING PIANIST!
The man. The myth. The legend.
Mr. Arden is a prodigious talent.
Michael, Out there is the best Disney song for me ❤
Love from BKK

He's amazing voice
Ingrid Calderon so he is the voice?
he was Quasimodo in the musical. not in the movie sadly
L 2234 Pretty sure he is sarcastic. Notice the comment, "He's amazing voice".
He's something like my goodness that's so amazing
@@MyHeartIsOpen2You
In British dialects he's can also mean he has in this sentence
such a great singer!
Best broadway performer
he sang I'll have "lived" one day out there
so real
A really talented performer. Doesn't sing until 1:44 in as Seth is doing his shtick but nice set-up.
Love Michael Ardin he is from my Hometown
Amazing
Gorgeous!
Wow he's good!👍👏
Wow he really just turns it on !!
Video starts at 1:50
Wait, He was in HOUSTON??!??!??!!! Crap I don’t live very far from Houston I could’ve gone! Goddamnit!
If I knew about this I would have gone because I live in Sugar Land so I'm feeling your pain
Isn’t the last phrase “I’ll have SPENT one day out there”?
The introducer sounds like Spongebob
True
I don't think there was enough embellishment in the accompaniment.
pierrels007 I can’t be the only one who thought it was weirdly paced. The accompanist and Michael didn’t always seem to be on the same page
wow james corden can really sing
Are you joking or do you really think that's James Corden if so please tell me
How dare you sir compare them
That’s not him
omg i would feel insulted if someone called me james corden
I dont like when he sings “old and bent”
its part of the act
