- While coming back from Disneyland, I had a couple friends (Nicolette and Brian) and a new friend Alex join in on episode 21 of Carpool Karaoke. Alex hadn't sang in a video with us yet so this time he was the featured singer...absolutely blowing the roof of with a rendition of "Out There" from Hunchback of Notre Dame with Nicolette and Brian providing backup vocals.
The guy who did Quasimodo has such brightness and hope in his voice. I love it! ❤

Good job guys! Give an award to guy singing Quasimodo's part - he's got a great voice! especially the ending I love the addition of a female voice in the background to help balance it out. Nice! Its true that if you're smiling while singing, the bright notes are definitely there! Goosebumps as always I get from this song!

You should think about doing "Someday"...the song from Hunchback which did not make the movie but was included in the theatrical version. The words of that song seem so timely in light of the current political and global climate. We need hope (and maybe Alex could return to the car and share his gift!)

I can't help notice that this is your most viewed video. Alex's talent is part of that, of course, and so is the choice of song. I wonder if Alex singing "Someday" with yourself, or "Anthem" from Chess would also be pretty darn popular. I would think so! Good luck!

ok - it was really good - better than I am able to convey now - but... the last note sung on the 5th was not needed - the song is WELL-more powerful with it ending on the 1st. The 1 of the scale is a seriously definite note - it "means business" - it is Decisive and final - it says "this is how it's going to be - and that's final" - so... yeah.
But listen - outside of that - this video is more excellent than perhaps you perceive - thanks for giving it a measure of realness and seriousness. It was inspiring.

She's not in this song much because it's primarily Quasimodo's song. However, she's in like 30-40% of my Carpool Karaoke episodes so you can scroll through others to hear more!

We have plenty of episodes uploaded (about 130) and hope to have even more moving forward. Alex isn't able to sing with us anymore though. We will have new great singers coming in though!
