I have a 2003 Dyna, been riding it for about 10 years. Haven’t been interested in anything newer.

Big fan of the FTR and the FXDX I think they compliment each other well if you were to only have a 2 horse stable.

Rode a buddy’s FTR rally and i want one. Especially with the 2023 changes.

FXDX wins on looks. I bet the FTR is the better overall bike.

Indian, because I’m just not a Harley fan. Harley used to be innovative way before I started riding in 1970.
It’s still fun hear them run in your video. Thank you.

Did you like the V-rod? How about these pan americas? I just can’t get past the price tag on them. I’m a motorcycle guy all brands. The small Indians are some of the coolest machines out there right now.

FTR is the cerebral choice. Dyna gets the fervid nod.

The FTR is sick but sticking with dyna all day. Also… there is a 20 year age difference. FTR is more capable in every category but is it as fun as riding the old Harley? In my opinion, no.

both awesome bikes, but as far as the FTR and Indian at large, i dont think theyve gone far enough. ok we have a sporty street tracker version of the scout, nice. whats next? a road tourer with some sporting or offroading pretentions like the Pan America? a more modern looking and functional naked with some fuel capacity? a set of clip ons and a fairing for a sporty bike? Euro bikes are getting super popular among the younger crowd because Japanese sportbikes and their race programs are going by the wayside and theres nothing else to compete. think of how much business bikes like the s1000rr and V4R drum up without even actually moving units

Eh its a completely different frame from the scout and an improved engine. I'd prefer a lighter power plant, however.

I have ridden both. My GF has the same Purple FXDX but not setup the same, and I rode a 2019 FTR1200. I still see the HD as a more comfortable bike but if you want to go Hooligan it is FTR all the way...

HD is killing themselves for not producing the Bronx. FTR is probably the best handling American motorcycle that is in production.

@@permutatechguy I was thinking bout that but went the cheaper route and put brand new 96in heads which flow better and let you run a touch higher cam.

Fxdx all day who could get sick of staring at that on your driveway, don’t like the aesthetics of new cruiser type bikes these days they look like too much plastic for my personal preference

I was gonna shit all over this video until I realized it was from you. And I already know how you get down. We are going to get a great content! I was gonna be like they’re not even comparable! But in reality every machine is. You. Could do a Grom vs Road Glide 😂. I am a hd guy but since Polaris bought Indian I’ve been paying attention. The FTR is really cool. I’d like a lower budget smaller displacement FTR. Polaris has really impressed with the FTR. It’s their best machine hands down imo.
