Not really sure what I expected from a trailer for a movie I'm not particularly familiar with, but a theme song that sounds like something by the Carpenters wasn't among that, haha.
Do you think you could do the same with the music video for either Running Up That Hill or Cloudbusting by Kate Bush? Not sure about RUTH but it's said that Cloudbusting was in the pre-show with the ads and trailers and stuff on UK theatrical prints of Back To The Future in 1985
@@KinekoVideo Since the dots are on the same place, roughly. I'd wager that it's a piece of dirt that happened optically in one of the transfers. Since it moves about, I'm guessing it was part of when the print was made. Since it's white, I'm going to make a guess that it was a piece of dirt that got caught during the interneg to print stage, as something black getting caught there would be inverted to show up as white on the release print. I'm guessing it was during the making of the trailer, as those probably have lower QC levels than the interneg to releaseprint of the full feature. That's a whole lotta guessing, I know. But since I can only go by what I see and have no evidence or first hand accounts of the process from drawing the animation to what we see here, that's all I can do. :)
It's amazing how much livelier this old stuff looks when you add just a little polish to it!
this movie is a work of art
It's always so surreal on 4K
RIP Leiji Matsumoto. His influence will continue and go down in the history of anime.
I love Leji Matsumoto's art style.
It's like going back to childhood and remembering how crisp and incredible your favorite cartoons used to look like.. brings a tear to my eye

Its theme song titled "Sayonara" was sung by Mary Macgregor (Torn Between Two Lovers)

whats these two tiny dots in the middle?
Looks like a problem with the capturing device?
@@prezroll Or they could be the damaged part of the film
Yeah, it's damage.
@@KinekoVideo They look kinda bright, though. Almost like those light reflections in a camera len.
