I don't have this personally yet but I really like it. hasbro did well this time around. it's amazing to see how far we've come since the beginning of the black series
The Fwoosh couldn't agree more, you've mentioned that in your videos pretty much everytime you have a black series figure and it's spot on. I feel as though the chewbacca is the only one that is lackluster from yhe alien group
As always great video. Can't wait to get my hands on these, about six or seven but the Bantha would really seal the deal with an added Tusken Raider just like the Dewback. It would be cool add on Gus. 😂
Great review Robo, I'm literally waiting for my Tusken Raider to be delivered today in the mail as I write this, and this review has me even more excited. I also want more of these so that I can use one of them to make a custom Tusken Jedi as well. I only wish that the bottom plastic half of the figure had soft goods instead though. Keep up the great reviews and news.
On weekends he plays pranks on students. Getting them to accidentally wander into Krayt Dragon lairs, spilling their waters, etc. But during the week he's all business. That's how Pillard rolls.
I have been waiting for this review! Very nice indeed. The Sand person was one of my favorite figures as a kid and I have been looking forward to getting one in this scale. This is definitely the army builder wave of the black series. I need at least 3 or 4 each of Jawas, Tuskens, Commanders and Royal Guards. I plan a lot of customizing fun.
Great review and the figure looks great, but that begs the question as to why the Jawa was sooo plasticy (I've made that word up!). Why not throw in a little cloth here and there to make it look better etc...?
So looking forward to receiving mine in the 40th Anniversary Series but still wanting to pick up the basic black series packaging. Then all I'll need is my Gamestop Lando and an insane amount of luck to locate the 40th Anniversary R2-D2 and Luke.
Buddy found an R2 for me so the only one I'm short from completing the set is...Obi-Wan, haha. I've seen him everywhere so I haven't been in a hurry to grab him, but watch, I'll horse around until they are all gone and suddenly I have to pay premium price for it.
A solid figure review, definitely a must have figure, yet to see these in store here in the UK, looks like it'll be an online purchase, thanks for sharing
awesome review as always. that's a sweet figure they are really stepping up.their game with this one and qui Gon. I hope the episode 8 figures are worth the money.
Understandable. Sometimes I'm better with them that other times, but I really feel it works pretty good here. In fact I think I'd like it better if the inner skirt were cloth too.
The Fwoosh...I do agree that this one is probably better off with soft goods, I just wish it was easily removable. Either way it's a must-have figure for any true Star Wars fan :)
Strange to me how the clear plastic insert holding the weapons in the 40th line is different..they could have saved themselves some sweet dollars...?! Great video as always mate!
I think in the grand scheme that vacuforming for the weapons is pretty cheap. Hell, I'm surprised they weren't just loose in bubble in the 40th line, like some of the vintage, haha.
I really like this figure, overall, but that gun and his inability to hold it in any real action pose is a missed opportunity. Leia and Luke have soft goods to cover their double joined elbows, why didn't this guy get the same treatment when he legitimately needs it? Granted I'm going gaffi sticks all the way with these, but come one.
so Constable zuvio was built weird. his chest was a separate piece on a ball joint that joint at the waist under the soft plastic chest/clothing. is this figure like that too? or does he have a solid chest like all the other figures?
holy crap that never occurred to me...Anakin DID kill a bunch of em (not sure if theyre related but sand people are sand people). always love your intros hahaha
Yeah, I don't know what made me think of that while reviewing it. Probably a different group but both Anakin and Luke are within speeder distance of the Lars homestead, gotta be around the same area.
Endless supply of fuzzies xD that was the same case with the modern 3.75 inch Tusken because it had the exact same type of cloth that came with it. Anyway, sweet review buddy! I've got to get me a couple of these guys!
I have those moments where I just want to knock everything off the shelf and either try to sell it or give it all away, but that usually passes pretty quickly.
The Fwoosh lol. I was trying to make an Obi Wan joke. kinda failed :D anyway, yeah, agreed on the 40th carded set. are you going to try to get the X-wing Luke? I've given up on him myself, he's not one of the first 12 :)
Looking forward to some picks of what this looks like with the softgoods removed. Optional pack-ins are awesome! On a different note Robo - if you want an army of monkeys to fight your Articulated Icons Ninjas or need new species for your Mythic Legions you should check out Animal Warriors of the Kingdom (www.kickstarter.com/projects/thekingdomcomic/animal-warriors-of-the-kingdom-series-1?ref=user_menu). I know you were into 3 3/4 once upon a time so I thought you might like to check out this live Kickstarter... or maybe mention it in your next quicky?!? Just say'n... just say'n. Great review as always!
Had to give it a try and yes, ROTJ Luke's lightsaber blade does fit in the gaffi stick. The peg is a little shorter and very slightly bigger, but it fits.
I 2 can't open them and i have 2 i ended up opening my 3 Tusken Raider Black series the 40 th are too hard to want to open can't do it either cool review
The Fwoosh robo! Just got him and you were so right! It's the only black series figure I own and I love it! Oh by the way, if you soak the robe then position it the way you like and let it dry it will hang more naturally 👍🏻
Only his friends call him Pillard.... jajajaj LMAO, endless supply of little fuzzys... where do you come up with so much funny nonsense Robo? Great review, love your work as always, keep up the good work
That intro really makes me look at SW in a whole new way.
I gotta get me a few of these and that angry face figuarts Anakin
The Bantha is a must!! That made me think of what if I just bought a 1/12 scale elephant and added fur. Go the movie route lol
Hmm, I don't think I've seen a 1/12 scale elephant. Of course, I haven't actively hunted for one either.
The Fwoosh Durfee Gaddafi in Darcy stick
Great review brother!!! I loved the intro and laughed my ASS OFF. Great figure Hasbro really stepped it up...
Yeah, they really excel with characters like this.
I don't have this personally yet but I really like it. hasbro did well this time around. it's amazing to see how far we've come since the beginning of the black series
I still think they fire on all cylinders with aliens and such, and then armored characters. Love the Tusken.
The Fwoosh couldn't agree more, you've mentioned that in your videos pretty much everytime you have a black series figure and it's spot on. I feel as though the chewbacca is the only one that is lackluster from yhe alien group
So glad we finally got a figure of the great Pillard Tusken!
Only thing missing now is a history book!
I was laughing so hard at Mr Tusken and the unreadables joke about them traveling in single file.
I won't be able to stop calling him Pillard.
The Fwoosh what subject does Pillard teach?
As always great video. Can't wait to get my hands on these, about six or seven but the Bantha would really seal the deal with an added Tusken Raider just like the Dewback. It would be cool add on Gus. 😂
Man, Hasbro seems to be putting in some good effort with these new Black Series releases.
We need a Bantha AND a Dewback for our Sandtroopers! Great work as always, Fwoosh!
Oh man, forgot about the Dewback. I need two of those too!
Exactly, I think a cloth under skirt would have put this over the top and would have blended right in with the outer robes. Thanks man!
Classic Pillard. Always getting into shenanigans!
On weekends he plays pranks on students. Getting them to accidentally wander into Krayt Dragon lairs, spilling their waters, etc. But during the week he's all business. That's how Pillard rolls.
The Fwoosh Haha this is why I love you
Always loved the Tuskens.
Liked for the single file joke, always enjoying your reviews Robo!
So many detailed accessories
The cycler rifle is probably my favorite Battle front star card weapon. Since it fires actual bullets it can cut through shields
Yeah, I remember digging it before I had to give the game up.
Been out all weekend drinking with my Dad. Your intro gave me a laugh! Another cheese/hessian cloth for my coconut oil infusions... nice.
Haha, glad I could make you laugh!
Been waiting for this figure for so long.
I'm right there with you, except maybe the Jawas. I need some different sized ones there.
Great review and the figure looks great, but that begs the question as to why the Jawa was sooo plasticy (I've made that word up!). Why not throw in a little cloth here and there to make it look better etc...?
That's where I am too. It would have been perfect for the Jawa, unless they didn't want the WHOLE body covered in cloth, head and all.
A bantha would be a great figure to go along with the Sand people...but, I think we need a sandcrawler for all the little Jawa's, It would be nuts!
That would be one giant brick with treads! And....I'd still buy it.
Great review! And YES: A BANTHA. One with "actual" fur, not sculpted. And a Dewback.
Hell yeah, if the Tusken gets cloth, the Bantha needs real hair. And definitely a Dewback.
Don't they travel in single file to hide their numbers?
That they do. Into a bag of some kind to sneak past the wife into the toy room. She definitely doesn't know their numbers.
So looking forward to receiving mine in the 40th Anniversary Series but still wanting to pick up the basic black series packaging. Then all I'll need is my Gamestop Lando and an insane amount of luck to locate the 40th Anniversary R2-D2 and Luke.

If your buddy should come across another I would be more than happy to pay you back for one.
lmao raider telling luke about his fam is priceless
this is a great figure! totally worth the $20
A solid figure review, definitely a must have figure, yet to see these in store here in the UK, looks like it'll be an online purchase, thanks for sharing
IAN FROST if you live in London go to Forbidden Planet, we are literally swimming in over stock.
awesome review as always. that's a sweet figure they are really stepping up.their game with this one and qui Gon. I hope the episode 8 figures are worth the money.
I'm interested in seeing how Qui-Gon is out of the package. He looks good but a little plain. USed to that in this line though.
Great review Robo...I don't know how I'll feel about the soft goods until I open mine up.
Hilarious stuff along with an informative entertaining review. Its almost as good as having one in hand..almost. Well done good sir!
Tatooine University would be awesome to attend.
I really like this figure, overall, but that gun and his inability to hold it in any real action pose is a missed opportunity. so Constable zuvio was built weird. his chest was a separate piece on a ball joint that joint at the waist under the soft plastic chest/clothing. is this figure like that too? or does he have a solid chest like all the other figures?
Solid chest but the joint is hidden behind that softer belt on the crotch piece.
holy crap that never occurred to me...Anakin DID kill a bunch of em (not sure if theyre related but sand people are sand people). always love your intros hahaha
Yeah, I don't know what made me think of that while reviewing it. Probably a different group but both Anakin and Luke are within speeder distance of the Lars homestead, gotta be around the same area.
Hey Robo another great video. I always enjoy watching your videos. I totally agree with you we definitely need a bantha.
Thanks, I appreciate that!
Thumbs up for the cold open
9:52 that's such a sick pose.
Thanks man, that's what I meant about it looking more dynamic than I thought it would. Surprising, really, it's crazy how photogenic this figure is.
Endless supply of fuzzies xD that was the same case with the modern 3.75 inch Tusken because it had the exact same type of cloth that came with it. Anyway, sweet review buddy! I've got to get me a couple of these guys!
Definitely, they are worth it. I'm trying to figure out how to get more myself.
I'm trying to sell my Black Series figures but damn the Tusken Raider almost has me wanting to give in
I have those moments where I just want to knock everything off the shelf and either try to sell it or give it all away, but that usually passes pretty quickly.
2 words - NEED WANT!
darn sold out. ah well, I'm sure they'll be back, and in greater numbers
Yeah, they are only just now trickling out, should be too hard to get.
The Fwoosh lol. I was trying to make an Obi Wan joke. kinda failed :D anyway, yeah, agreed on the 40th carded set. are you going to try to get the X-wing Luke? I've given up on him myself, he's not one of the first 12 :)
I'm definitely Digging this figure
good call not opening the40 card I did the same LMAO
Haha, it's too pretty!

Great review as always!
We need a Dewback to go along with the sandtroopers also
I always forget about the Dewback, we need that badly!
Great review. Bummer about the robe. I wanted to take it off
I JUST cut the robe off a second one earlier this week. It looks a little narrow but pretty good.
Awesome review really like this figure posted a pic on Instagram like you need more of these 😉👍🏻
Do you think a lightsaber blade will fit in the gaffi stick?
Zedrick that's actually a great coincidence that you asked that, because that's just what I'm going to try see if I can do now that I have one.
Had to give it a try and yes, ROTJ Luke's lightsaber blade does fit in the gaffi stick. The peg is a little shorter and very slightly bigger, but it fits.
That's awesome!
They did a Sandtrooper and a dewback. Maybe we can get a tusken raider and a bantha
Does a lightsaber blade fits in the gafi(don't know if i write it right)?
Now you need a team of at least 20 of them
I 2 can't open them and i have 2 i ended up opening my 3 Tusken Raider Black series the 40 th are too hard to want to open can't do it either cool review
I'd love to see a custom of the surviving Raider from the Coda mini-comic from Marvel's Vader series.
should have come with the woman and the children too. Specially now that we got Figuarts Annie.
9:24 Playing Bass Guitar
I'm pretty sure Luke used a cycler rifle in A New Hope.
Sushiyoda he does
wishful thinking, but a Bantha set and a Sandcrawler set would make my life so much better!!!
Sandcrawler would be INSANE.
The Fwoosh haha right!?!? I would buy it in an instant!!!
Did you ever end up making a Sharad Hett?
No, I didn't. Still on the list. A very, very long list.
I'm figuring they want you to Army bill with San people or tusken Raider I should say LOL keep up the good work you the best.
Haha, yeah, I definitely need more! Thanks man!
i feel on the 40th anniversary cards. I have R2, vader and R4 and cant force myself to open them
They are just too pretty!
I never really like the fabric top robe on the Tusken I might just take it off if I pick up this guy
It should be pretty easy. I just got another that I'm seriously considering for a custom, plus gotta find out how that cloth comes off.
Finally asharad hett gets a figure
Thanks Robo...awesome figure! The head sculpt reminds me a bit of an ex-girlfriend I used to have but that's ok lolol. The intro cracked me up hahaha.
Haha, I'm trying to imagine your ex now. Gah!
Hehehehahaha! :-) :-)
Bantha would be awesome
It definitely would, even though it would end up a coffee table centerpiece because I have no room for it. It would still be awesome there too.
The Fwoosh indeed it would. Here's hoping they do the bantha and the dewback.
I never open any of my card figures
Sooooo cool !
I think I need this
You need it, it's worth it.
The Fwoosh robo! Just got him and you were so right! It's the only black series figure I own and I love it! Oh by the way, if you soak the robe then position it the way you like and let it dry it will hang more naturally 👍🏻
I got a cool (not really) name for your Fwoosh Weekly.
The Weekly Fwoosh-letter!
Ya know!
2nd!
Only his friends call him Pillard.... jajajaj LMAO, endless supply of little fuzzys... where do you come up with so much funny nonsense Robo?
Great review, love your work as always, keep up the good work
Haha, I've started just blurting out whatever comes to mind when I'm shooting, if it sticks, it sticks. Thanks man, I'm glad you dig it!
Wow
Some people never grow up. Luckily. The only way to tell they are 18+ is by their toy bill.
I think it looks great but Anakin HATES these guys. I can't stress hates enough on that. Really man, it's not good. Great review though.
Gaffi stick is easier to pronounce.
Exactly.
1st
I wonder what the tusken raiders look like without their masks 🤔
I hate little fuzzies!
I went in to review Anakin today and there were STILL fuzzies on the backdrop.
