Sungrazer is a heavy rock three piece formed in the beginning of 2009. Their music ranges from psychedelic jams to stoner rock. Check: www.sungrazer.nl
The former singer and guitar player Rutger Smeets have passed away years ago, 2015 i think and he quited the band in 2013. I don't know if they're still playing.
This music is enough to induce euphoria, and you'd swear your ears are encrusted with resin! They should make an ice cream flavor that makes you feel like this, and serve it in a waffle cone! I'd have a wicked high AND one helluva stomachache! Why does this brand of music never get the radio play it deserves?
I'm searchin' for the right path Can you show me the road? It's 'bout time I just fought, though It's not a wonder we're cold As I fall out of routine Random thoughts will repeat Still nobody's fault, though Weed is not what I need Yeah, I'm thinkin' of you now You're the fuel for my dreams Losin' track and I'm way down This trip is not what it seems I can wait where the mountain is high I can tell by the look in his eye I can wait where the mountain is high I can tell by the look in his eye Yeah, I'm thinkin' of you now You're the fuel for my dreams Losin' track and I'm way down This trip is not what it seems I can wait where the mountain is high I can tell by the look in his eye I can wait where the mountain is high I can tell by the look in his eye I can wait where the mountain is high I can tell by the look in his eye..
Okay, okay...I may be pushin' it, but this is what God intended heavy metal to sound like! From Black Sabbath's "Sweet Leaf" onward, this is the syrupy fuzz that grabs your soul, the whole time just makin' your head go all "Weeble-Dee-Boing" like it's on a spring, with that "boingity-boingity-boing" like the finest green blesses the acolytes with...except you ain't gotta be "Chonged out" to really appreciate the "Wham-Boogle-Dee" sorta vibe that wafts out of this tune like a whiff of the divine! Okay, I'm not high, but the ganja-fied descriptives are heartfelt, I promise. Anything before this is the metal equivalent of Cro-Magnon, and anything that succeeds it is afterplay...uh, right?
***** Metal...in the most primal definition, before it all became codified, and metal became a term of alienation, and heavy music became a contest instead of a common aspiration. If it doesn't make you wanna whip the full weight of your skull and its contents around during the choruses, I don't know what else would.
***** EH??? Whatchoo talkin' 'bout, Willis??? 90s??? "Heavy Metal" was a musical term used before I was born...though nowadays, I reckon, they tend to drop the "heavy", and use "metal" to describe what you'd hear at Ozzfest (Primus notwithstanding). I'm guessing that would be what your alluding to. It tends to blur together, though- "Master of Reality", for example, is an early heavy metal album, which is also credited with being the first "stoner" album (no rebuttal from me), and certainly gives credence to the "doom" label as well. This would have been 1972, I think. Predates me by two years...and still my favorite 'Sabbath album! Not trying to give you a history lesson you don't want (or need, I presume), but I felt the need to clarify. ...or, for another example of "blurring together", I'd recommend Tool's version of "Demon Cleaner". Hard to go wrong with Kyuss! Here's hoping you relish it as I do...na zdrovye!
Whats with all the great " Tundra Rock ' ? The northern Dessert Rock scene . . Tia Carrera. Dozer, Greenleaf, Truckfighters , Witchcraft, Bravetard, over in Oslo , My Midnight Creeps and Snowy Dunes . I guarantee znyone on thid page checks out Snowy Dunes ...youll need the rest . :)
RIP Rutger :(
R.I.P. Rutger Smeets.
I have been listening to this band for almost seven years now, I really would go to earths end to see them live.

Heavy bass - wow - and even more psychodelic than in the seventies. One of my best discovers in the last years.
Oh yeah. This has even turned the ears of a hardened 1970 prog rocker. Very nice.
I can't believe I only just found out these guys exist. So rad.

I'm searchin' for the right path
Can you show me the road?
It's 'bout time I just fought, though
It's not a wonder we're cold
As I fall out of routine
Random thoughts will repeat
Still nobody's fault, though
Weed is not what I need
Yeah, I'm thinkin' of you now
You're the fuel for my dreams
Losin' track and I'm way down
This trip is not what it seems
I can wait where the mountain is high
I can tell by the look in his eye
I can wait where the mountain is high
I can tell by the look in his eye
Yeah, I'm thinkin' of you now
You're the fuel for my dreams

I can wait where the mountain is high
I can tell by the look in his eye
I can wait where the mountain is high
I can tell by the look in his eye
I can wait where the mountain is high
I can tell by the look in his eye..
