- Tis the Season to get a little bit spooky! So Kim and I have built ourseleves a pair of haunting friends.One a beautiful Victorian Lady made of chicken wire and the other a haunting peppers ghost little girl. So Enjoy our little halloween special.

Is there anything you two can't do? The chicken wire woman is just fantastic, and the ghost in the window is amazing. Hopefully you don't invoke anything by putting these up! ;)

If she doesn't show up too well, you could use cheap spiderweb material from the dollar store to capture more of the light from the LED's. Stretch it around her thinly enough and it could look like wisps of fog or smoke. She looks really cool so far!

Yes!! That worked out wonderfully along with the music choice. Actually if you just look at the curtain it looks like it’s fluttering in time with the music! 😀👻🎃
A fan blowing towards the mannequin would make her dress and hair move and make it even spookier. Maybe some flickering light also … 👻 …
Good job, I especially love the wire lady! Another great ghost idea is to make it of clear tape. Basically covering a mannequin or doll with plastic wrap, then a few layers of tape. Then carefully cutting it off. Now I’m inspired to go dig out my ghosts ….

On your chicken wire ghost lady you should try spraying the whole thing with some luminous paint, the kind that you can charge with a light so it glows in the dark and a lamp on a timer to recharge it at intervals

When you move in, if you do tours, you could make staging figures in some rooms. So cool.
Spray paint the chicken wire ghost with glow in the dark part it will dimly glow at night it is a cool effect

Very nifty! This got my wheels turning. Using pepper’s ghost is SO fitting in a Victorian house for Halloween. I don’t know if I’d have the patience for the “poultry netting” lady, but her form looks great!
Some glow in the dark rubbed on that chicken wire. With a black light in the parlor. You could have an entire ghost family for some spooky celebration. Just like the movie "Home Alone". If you add those figures onto a motion coaster wheels (Toy train tracks). You could have them dancing.

Those turned out great! I love the idea of bringing the family back in ghost form. When you mentioned using Kim as a model, I cringed, imagining lots of puncture wounds. Glad I misunderstood. Haha. I've seen someone create a chicken-wire ghost using a mannequin, but it's impressive that you did it without using any kind of form to shape it! Well done.

My daughter was born in Texas. We lived later in Louisiana and would go over to Taylor to the zoo many times a year. Always loved stopping at Buc-ee’s ❤️ We’ve been missing this place for a very long time. We will be getting one in Auburn, ALABAMA 😱 I’m sooooooo excited.
For extra spookyness, you could move her at different spots outside. Like on the roof or near a window outside.

It really is the holiday that is the most fun! Kind of surprised you don't go all out for Halloween. Seems like it would be a popular holiday, though spring doesn't have the spooky feeling fall can have.
Australia is essentially China now. Terrible place.

Halloween wasn’t that much of a thing in the UK when I was a kid, but these days we’ve pretty much caught up with America in that regard, Australia just needs to catch up too.
Oh, how funny. I just watched a video of Rachel Maksy making a chicken wire Victorian lady ghost on her channel. She painted hers white and put her outside. She plans to uplight her. You guys did a great job. I didn't realize that chicken wire Victorian lady ghosts were a thing. LOL!!!.
I think a sheet of scrim fabric and projector backlight works great as well for creating ghost.

I’ve seen people spray painting their ghosts white to increase visibility and a spot light on it lights up better than from within. Maybe a solar powered one?

If you wanted to cover her ...you could use liquid starch with muslin cloth soaked in the starch. The starch drys hard...with the lights inside
I love the idea of making the entire family! You did a great job, especially with doing the features. That couldn't have been easy with chicken wire!

I am definitely impressed with the ghost lady you were able to make out of chicken wire. I think if you could have covered it in a sheer fabric (chiffon perhaps) with a blue or green light at the base shining upwards it may have given you the effect you were looking for.

I loved this episode, I have several vacant storefronts, when we have vacant storefronts, we like to keep them looking interesting. I may try the chicken wire. The building is 120 years old. I think In high school, I wanted to be set designer. I don't currently have a lady, So maybe a dress form. Your house would be my dream preservation. I missed an opportunity, at "Franklin Castle" Cleveland Ohio's spookiest mansion. I really enjoy the content that you and your wife bring to you-tube.

Ghost lady armature can be covered with tissue paper and glue and water mixture and light added to inside bottom of armature for illumination.

I recommend stuffing the lady with white nylon net fabric. You can pick it up cheap at a fabric store. Be sure to run your led lights deep inside the netting. It will look amazing at night either outside or in the window. :o)

Fantastic! I saw someone online spray paint the chickenwire at the bottom of the ghosts with a grass green color to make them look like they’re floating
Genius! I wanna add the glow in the dark clear spray paint as well.
You can also use the wire mesh with organza to create the ghosts as it does give the light something to reflect on, whilst still keeping the sheerness

An anamatronic Mrs Claus dressed up would look awesome moving in the glass or even with a fan blowing on low.
for outside lady, maybe thick plastic thin slices inside her in different ways to give her a kinda line showing parts depending on way light hits her? She is really neat - looks like she's walking in the yard.

If you had a directional light then lighting the chicken wire ghost from the front would likely make it stand out better. Just remember to catch the light so the room stays dark.

I like the idea of the lights, I was thinking of using reflective spray paint on mine to catch the car lights when they pass by. Great work on yours! HAHA!! LOVE the opening music and throughout. Wire ghost is going to be fun. Maybe if you drape it with minimal sort of wispy translucent white netting fabric or something like you put on the mannequin, that would blow in the breeze and such. Very cool indeed though. Great fun for sure.

There's this old house with a turret in my neighborhood and years ago they had a suit of armor kind of set back from the window and backlit maybe with just the hallway light on and my kids were petrified if we drove by at night.
