Comes down to what you want. I've got both. The 9 pro has GPS and a compass and larger screen. The band 9 has better battery life, is smaller & lighter, and more importantly for me, the band 9 lift to wake responds a lot, lot faster than the band 9 pro.
@@TechBrothersReviews I only have the mi band 9 and mi band 9 pro. So can't say about the band 9 active. However, I've decided to return the band 9 pro as the speed for lift to wake is too slow in comparison to the mi band 9, for me. I'll get either a Vivoactive 5 or Amazfit Balance, to complement the mi band 9 with it's very very long battery life. Both the Amazfit and Vivoactive are great watches with slight differences in pros and cons for my needs. There could be a Balance 2 and Vivoactive 6 perhaps around Sept 2025 and there are some good deals on these.
active has smaller sensor and less LEDs than 9 so it reacts to the changes in heart rate slower it has less memory for watch faces too when I was comparing it also had less features, there was no auto stress tracking, for example. screen is a bit bad and the square sides catch on clothes more than 9
it's not really true HyperOS but instead a better ZeppOS on fitness tracker hardware with better translations, less text rendering bugs, more notification icons and more optimized for 60Hz displays. Also "HyperOS" only works with the Mi Fit app and is incompatible with Zepp Life
Such a great and professional presentation man! You nailed it here!
Thanks!

You didn't say anything about the Smart Band 9 Active, so it doesn't have any advantages?

Great review, now I see the differences
Thanks for watching!
I want one, but i like more the screen of the active than the normal 9, the normal looks so tiny
05:03 you can see that the display brightness of Smart Band 9 Active is much lower than others
That's true.
active has smaller sensor and less LEDs than 9
so it reacts to the changes in heart rate slower
it has less memory for watch faces too
when I was comparing it also had less features, there was no auto stress tracking, for example.
screen is a bit bad and the square sides catch on clothes more than 9
I totally agree with you.
What is the point of HyperOS on Smart Band 9 Active?

I have smart band 8. I would love to upgrade to 9 Pro IF it had NFC that is compatible with Google pay......
Unfortunately, there's still no NFC.
Xiaomi Band 9 Active is the same as Band 8 Active?
No, they even look different.
9PRO without speaker really scrap
I agree. It lacks Bluetooth calling.
I use mi band 8 pro , it is totally inaccurate. Avoid xaomi band
What did you compare it to?
@TechBrothersReviews polar h10.
The screen of the Band 9 Active is horrible
Yes, it's worse than the Smart Band 9, but it's probably okay for a $19 fitness tracker.
Smart Band 9 Active is worthless
It will find its buyers, as it is very cheap.
Smart band 9 is cheaper right now@@TechBrothersReviews
