    Hello! I would like to present my recent feedback about HR monitoring with MiBand 9. During the day it meauseres just fine (working at my laptop, cooking, etc and even within intense periods like working out, the HR sensor works fine). However, at night, while I'm sitting/lying in the couch watching some TV, the band starts record values like 125-130bpm . When I manually start measure HR, it starts at 125-130bpm and after that goes down to 55-50-46bpm. In the next minute it's high again - and I still remained relaxed in the couch...Do you have any insight on how to avoid this? (Besides throwing it away of course).

    Nice review.
    I've had my mi band 9 for several days now and I'm impressed.
    Very light - I forget I have it on. Handy for sleep tracking. I get about 6 to 7 days before needing to charge. Using on android 14.
    Three main downsides. 1) Always on display is dim compared to the screen on.
    2) The strap is not good. It comes loose very easily on my wrist. However. I bought a better strap from Amazon.
    3) Unlike Garmin and Apple watches I've had before, this gives a slight buzzing/electronic buzzing sensation round my wrist. It's not great but I can live with it for tracking.
    I'm going to give this to a relative and use a Garmin vivo active 5 instead as I want tap to pay and music storage.

    I recently purchased the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Global Version (2024) from Amazon, and I’m having trouble adjusting some settings in the app. I’m located in the United States and have my region set to the United States, so I assumed the app would default to local units.
    It’s possible I’m just overlooking something, but I thought I’d ask here in case anyone has experience with this or knows where these options might be located.
    Specifically, I’m looking for help with the following:
    Weight Units: Switching from kilograms (kg) to pounds (lb).
    Height Units: Changing from centimeters (cm) to inches.
    Distance Walked: Adjusting from kilometers (km) to miles.
    Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hi Mr. Chigz Tech. Thank you for this review! I'm actually conflicted because I got a Samsung Fit 3 bundled with my purchase of a Samsung A55 at no cost. I was suppose to sell it as I already have an old fit band (The old Huawei band 6). But after reading Fit3 reviews including yours, I'm having 2nd thoughts of ridding it as it has some features that MAY prove useful particularly the ability to reply with Quick Messages with certain apps such as Samsung Messages, Google Messages and even FB Messenger. Also, the screen size is great for the calculator app and the calendar app will certainly be beneficial as well. As for the Fitness tracker, for now I think I may only utilitize the treadmill, walking and running/jogging workouts.
    Given my use cases, what's your recommendation? Or do you recommend others as well such as this Mi Band 9, Huawei Band 9, Xiaomi Mi Band 8 Pro, Redmi Watch 4 (the size of this watch's face may make me look ridiculous as I'm 5'10" with thin arms). Hope you can help me in my predicament. Thank You.

      @Agiyi 3 месяца назад +2

      I almost pulled the trigger on a Fit3 as well, but then I started reading that it has major problems with syncing workouts to the phone... And what's worrying is that those problems are reported since April, and Samsung still hasn't done anything about it...

    • @nathanielngosy
      @nathanielngosy 3 месяца назад

      @@Agiyi I see. Hmmm. If my priorities would be the following (during instances while I'm driving, malling or light jogging when you don't want to be bothered getting your phone from your pocket, fanny pack or your camera bag):
      1. Quick Reply Messaging
      2. Calculator app
      3. Calendar
      4. Camera function
      5. Potentially the Calorie count.
      6. Treadmill / Pedometer / Running Workouts. GPS isn't essential for me as I my regular workout would be the treadmill (daily).
      7. Enough battery life such that charging would only be once a week (Likely no AOD for me BUT bluetooth connection would be a norm while driving to and from work).
      8. Durability.
      Also, I did get a Fit3 from a promo but I'm thinking of selling it and getting something better perhaps like the Huawei Watch Fit 3 though more expensive (approx. 2X the price of the Fit3). What's your personal opinion on the matter?
      Thank You.
