He's just great at knowing when to push. He has stupid crazy power so even when they block shots, the force alone will rattle them. From there he knows all he has to do is land 1 of his main shots and it's over. His speed is crazy but tbh I'd rather have him charge me than anything else. It's so interesting to think of what Ngannou would look like in a boxing match. Thing with boxing though is some guys know how to fight off the back foot so if he kept charging they'd probably counter him. Ngannou's flurries are awesome but I don't know how well they'd work versus a seasoned boxer.

In boxing they're throwing punches, that's it. There's so much less room for error. In boxing many times the decisive factor is how refined a fighters technique is. If you try and power through everything in boxing you're gonna get your ass kicked. The only thing I think that would be saving Ngannou in this instance is that the heavyweight division is at a historically weak point right now.

Wouldn't even be that hard to enforce, if it's obvious, give them a penalty for unsportmanshiplike behavior? (Maybe a 20% deduction of their purse like missing weight?) and if it isn't so obvious or a 50/50 then don't penalize them. As you said sometimes you need to and if you're unsure and not intentionally beating someone that's out then it should be declared fair use.
remember it's a fight, it's easy to watch it afterward and say it's over the top but Francis is a killer, you can see how nice of a guy he is outside the ring but when that octagon door closes he switches into kill mode.
