    The way Jones set up the choke with rampage was genius. He pushed down on the head with his elbow to make rampage wanna pop his head up, then as soon as he does, he sneaks that arm right under. Beautiful technique

      The magic was on the other arm as well: Jones makes a first choke attempt with right arm, Rampage lowers this arm but with this movement, Jones takes rampage left wrist, leaving Rampage defenseless for the choke with left arm, Awesome!!

      Hell, some of us who've been around since the jump of UFC... There are a LOT of bad bad killer fighters.... Dan Frye was a beast... Pride.. Pick a HGH and Steroider, but Fedor was a favorite of mine / ours due to how passive he was... AND, insanely aggressive... I cannot think a single fighter of any weight class that Jon Jones couldn't take out... Most with EASE... You don't show up to fight him with a gun... You bring 3!

      the strike was cold as well, i remember him talking about how machida kept catching him whenever he went for a leg kick, so jon faked him out and caught him with a left when he went for the jab

    Johns ability to string 5 or 6 moves together one after another is unmatched. You never have a second to recover before he sets you up for the next. His long limbs and knowledge of so many finishing moves made him unbeatable. Like a hot knife through butter.

      Even crazier is how badly Chael made his opponents look. Rag dolled and mauled most of them. But Jones is a whole different level. John will retire undefeated. No existing fighters in the ufc can beat him…causals might say Alex, but realistically, John can easily take him down and submit. John any day of the week vs Alex

    Jon Jones to me is the PINNACLE of man’s physicality. There isn’t a single facet of his game that lacks in any regard. The size, the power, the quickness the technicality.

    Don't know if anyone noticed but when Jones had Shogun against the cage and hit him with that body shot and knee the referee had stopped the fight but Shogun didn't know and was tapping on the mat I saw that and it was a powerful visual I felt bad for Shogun but was like damn Jones is vicious 😔😕

    The chael sonnen fight looked more like a big brother little brother fight tbh. The gap between their skill sets on this day was truly incredible, he made it look easy and absolutely dominated a top class (world class actually) fighter with tons of experience as though he was teaching the school bully a quick lesson or three😂 in dominance 😂🤷🏼‍♂️

    Jon was the best he won against the best of the best and did it dominating.beat Bader,Bonnar,Rua,Rampage,Machida,Rashad,Victor who almost won,Sonnen,textural,Gustafson,Cormier 2 times,Tore Osp apart,then Gustafson again ,Reyes,Sanyo’s,Smith,and now became a 2 division king after 3 years off by beating gane in about 2 minutes

    I was in high school back in early 2010's and Jones is dominating the light heavyweight division. Much much later, I graduated from my master's degree, and Jones is still dominating the league. What a chad.

    1:25 The ever attentive Big John sees it go limp, but still gives him 2 seconds leeway in case he isnt actually out. It's small choices like this, over the years, that gave him the reputation he has now as one of the best to ever ref. Think about how many refs are dismantled for early stoppages, or the shit Mario Yamasaki(?) gets to this day about his warrior comment. Seeing him get it right after all these years is just as impressive as the fights themselves.

    What's scary about Jones is he's beating the best at their own game too. Submission artist? He'll tap him. Brawler? He'll bang with them center ring. Olympic level wrestler? He's taking them down and wearing them out. Just so they can't say he isn't better. It's a crazy ability and mentality.

    The reach,height,unique strikes such as stabbing leg kicks and spinning elbows,also had brutal knees like Anderson,nasty ground and pound like Tito,beautiful choices of strikes,good movement,footwork,timing,and kicks not to mention a master of wrestling who slammed sonnen down 3 times in 1 rd.

    been watching ufc since like 2005 and it’s no question jones has had the most dominant run in league history. the only way fans that don’t like him try to tear him down is to bring up his personal life, because in the octagon he has been flawless. seemingly unbeatable.
