Jones landed many body, leg, oblique kicks, and landed a number of side kicks and spinning back kicks. Jones fight iq is amazing, his experience also won him this fight. Constantly feinting at him with the low kicks, feinting take downs, keeping Thiago off balance that’s why santos wasn’t pulling the trigger. But santos patience and movement made it harder for jones to dominate how he usually does.

This was a respectful fight. I think once that knee blew out, Jon knew he had won…hence no major take down attempts, strong blocks, direct solid strikes and confident posture. But, respect for Marreta continuing to fight as hard as he did.
