Couple notes: Caleb didn't get caught with Maeve destroying Rehoboam at the lighthouse. He survived that - barely - and then met his future wife in the hospital. Also Caleb wasn't patient zero for the fly virus. There were already humans infected in the Temperance park because Hale turned the infected humans inside the park against Caleb and Maeve after Caleb was infected. If anything Caleb was likely the first Outlier Hale encountered because he resisted the tone-commands. Also Caleb didn't infect the world. He died before leaving the Temperance park and then Hale kept his body and turned him into a host and put him through 270+ fidelity tests over the next 23 years because he's an Outlier and resisted the commands. I don't think the fly virus passed human to human. I think Hale simply release scores of millions - maybe even billions - of them to infect the world, tho this is speculation.
Imagine putting a RUclips video out with this voice and pretending you know about a show only to have a comment like this completely fix the writing of the video. Thank you!
So many things wrong here. First has your narrator watched the show? Its not "DEE-los" or the "sub-lime" Its "Dell-os" and "su-blime", small details but again it just makes it sound like someone who doesn't know what they are talking about is trying to explain it to us. Also very little of what you were saying matched up to what you had on screen at the time. Also, stop yelling at me And its weird you mentioned the fact that it was based on the foundation which gave me hope for what you would say but then you have the most simplistic view on what's going on..
Yes i am confused by this clip, or is my memory of the show to blame? He said Caleb infected the world? How? Thought that was Hale.... Bernard made the sublime? I thought that was Ford, or did they mean via Bernard it was created? 3 mins left to watch of this.....should i even bother?
NGL, I smell an LLM somewhere in here. The transcript and some facts are off *just* enough to be able to sweep under the rug as being done by somebody for whom English is not their first language. So I'm thinking that at least the transcript was written or co-written by an AI. It's also possible that the entire summary is generated by an LLM that's "watched" the 4th Season.
The tree in the final episode symbolizes Delores and Hale. Delores was the roots in the tower behind the scenes while Hale was above ground in the real world
I couldn't watch more than a few minutes of this review because of him continually calling it Dee-Los when it's Deh-los. It's pronounced through the entire 4 seasons!
Yup, the HBO show is based on 1973 FILM of the same name by Michael Crichton which seemed to like writing about parks since he later wrote Jurassic Park.
What I wish to see in Season 5: Dolores runs the simulation of the Delos West World Park and we get a retelling of season 1, but from her perspective. But this time, because of her character development through the seasons, the original Dolores that awakes and young William falls in love with doesn't get rebooted. And because William never loses Dolores he doesn't become the man in black but a white knight. And the fact that it would have been possible for William to be a good person if he would have gotten the love he so much desired proves to Dolores, that humanity has the possibility to be good and is worth saving.
I'm usually very impressed with SR videos, but what the heck happened here? The narration does not match the video at all except for a few very small snippets. And how can you discuss how we got here without showing a single clip of stuff from seasons 1-3? Very confusing video.
personally i found season 1 to be a 10/10 and it went down hill rather quickly from there in season 2, you could tell that they reeeeally tried hard to reach that same level of genius from season 1, but didnt succed season 3 pretty much killed the whole idea of westworld for me, since it entirely took place in a reagular city, which was not what "i signed up for" (also i felt like the overall quality just degraded several levels in pretty much every aspect, especiallythe writing) season 4 was maybe a little better than 3, but overall a little confusing at times and again....just not "westworld" anymore in the end, after s1, i always felt like an entirely new team of less talented ppl took over this show and you could just tell that they struggled to provide something that at least gets vaguely on the same quality level that s1 had.
Westworld would’ve been super boring if it only took place in the park. The cyberpunk themes came into full fruition s3&4 that’s what the early seasons were setting up for
it happens when you pay some guy on Fiverr to read a machine-translated script about a show he doesn't watch because that's the cheapest option and this is a click farm, not criticism
Calling it. If there’s no season 5, this would actually have made for a perfect ending to the show. It would leave audiences in perspective about if humanity & hosts do better again in the sublime or if Dolores/Christina suddenly faded into memory, was forgotten about but a remnant of her became Dolores from the first season, therefore causing the entire plot to be revealed as an infinite loop. If that’s the case, maybe I will fully come round to the opinion of GoT having the worst ending in tv history ever
See I never understood the part of how the sublime will help humans. Because their are no humans in the sublime. Or does she mean she'll just use it as a simulation to decide whether she'll help the humans left in the real world
Rehoboam was the hero-Serac was right, mankind was doomed without a higher intelligence charting us a path-We needed a god, sadly, naming that god after a damned King of Judah was probably not the best foreshadowing. Season Three had much potential but fell flat. I really didn’t like how Dolores became the “hero,” while Serac who cared about mankind was deemed the bad guy. I also do not understand how Dolores could have possibly defeated a vastly superior AI that had limitless resources at hand.
1st part about the show being based on a book doesn't sound right because the HBO show is based on 1973 FILM of the same name by Michael Crichton which seemed to like writing about parks since he later wrote Jurassic Park.
The only way they can make another season is if they broke the 4th wall and Dolores that realises that she's just a character with in a TV show within a made believe park in a simulation. So they brake the 4th wall and kill all the writers of the show. The end
season 3 : life and rehoboam is bad season 4: hold my beer overall, season 1 got the hooked, season 2 made me ask, where all of this plot is going, season 3 had me lose interest due to the massive change in tone and setting and season 4 made me wish, that season 2 had a conclusion to the series and that it would have ended there
I think Season 4 was a massive improvement over 3. I loved how it took plot points from all previous seasons and made them relevant to the new mystery. However, I had the same problem of there not being enough 'West' in 'Westworld.' I'm glad season 5 will take us back to the park(s).
Your editorial would have been so much better if the video cuts matched your narrative. Obviously you had all the footage but you just didn't do the editing work. This makes your editorial hard to watch as the eyes are seeing one clip but you are talking about something completely different. It could have been so much better.
This is got to be the most confusing show to ever be created if I was a writer at the writing table when they were producing the script to this season I'd be like do any of us really know what's going on or are we just making this up as we go minute by minute Episode by episode
At least this show isn't pulling a Lost it actually doesn't just keep making up more and more things and not explaining them, it's complicated and hard to understand everything for sure.
Season 1 was a masterpiece. Season 2, a couple decent episodes, but a convoluted mess. What the hell has this show turned into? This sounds like satire, but I guess this is what they're writing...
It already did dude. Season 1 and 2 were genius. Season 3 was okay. Season 4 was good again but it was too late. Got cancelled. Still a good ending imo.

Is season 4 finale an open one? I haven't finish the series yet but I heard it got cancelled, idk if I want to keep watching if in the end we have lots of things unsolved
Dolores returns to the first Westworld park, it could be a good ending for the series. The end is the beginning of the first episode the arrival of the train. If there is a season 5 it will be the war of the survivors against the host the last level of the game and GAME OVER
I loved the whole season, better than Season 3 completely. I'm not a fan of the last episode, i think it should have ended with Metanoia but generally it was a good seasons to me.
Who will maintain the servers in the real world if there is no one left to do it. The sublime will end eventually as well. All it will take is a few rats to chew the wires and the sublime will be gone.
Didnt they already explain that this dam will be able to power itself indefinitely in the first episode? It is a dam after all, the water would have to stop flowing. And the hosts can leave the Sublime whenever they want, and go back into host bodies. Drones could help with this. So yes they could maintain the dam and the sublime indefinitely.

It's just amazing how bad this show has gotten. It's bad beyond belief. What the hell happened to these people? I still remember when this show had an actual storyline and Anthony Hopkins' monologues, and great actors who actually performed great. Even the new actors are bad. Dialogues are cringey, the story is a mess, the performances are bad, everything is crap. I just wish I had never started watching this. I watched the last episode at 2x speed and it was still unbearable. Too bad to be true.
The show has always been about the fight between creation and creator now we have to wait and see if either one wins or they both go extinct god i hope they renew it
I needed to see some resolution with of the time shifts. It’s great to have flashbacks and flash forwards but not great if it doesn’t contribute to the themes as a whole or character development. The only thing I can think of is that to the hosts, time means nothing but to the guests time is a thief aging them, taking their health and their minds. Then again the vintage hosts like Delores are closer to sentience than the new hosts. Kind of like the explanation of what is real in the Velveteen Rabbit. Something that has been loved for a long time becomes real. Just guesses but who has any other explanation?
Super Important Tip : Please watch the actual show if you’re gonna explain about it, you manage to make it more confusing and your pronouncing the names all wrong.
So….what happened??? After watching this video in completely lost when I thought I had a decent grip on what was going on. Obviously not. That city with the tower is in west world. The humans after 25 years still visit west world correct? Dolores is in sublime subconsciously controlling the hosts in west world. Bernard was in sublime woke himself up in real world went back to westworld to dig up Maeve so they could destroy westworld. Dolores starts new westworld in sublime? Someone kindly correct me!
The city with the tower is a new west world, except it's the host visiting and the humans are running scripts and loops. Christina/Doloros is in a simluation mirroring the real world/new west world, writing scripts for the humans, thinking she herself is alive in the real world. Benard went back to an old iteration of the west world to dig up Maeve yes. Other than that you're correct by my understading.

The first 2 seasons were amazing , then it went to the toilet
But the "real world" im not sp sure about. How do you explain the rift/gateway to the sublime? There's a bigger picture we dont get here.
He’s reading a script. It’s the only explanation.
I've listened to this explanation to better understand the ending, and "Ive gotta tell ya... it doesn't work!"
Wow, that was rough to get through. Not gonna lie.
I wonder what these comments would look like without bots and supporters who get paid to comment?
