Sorry for the late upload - accidentally scheduled the video for tomorrow instead of today ornluaFail. Will have Barbarossa 1 tomorrow morning (EST) as usual.
Attacking Yusuf's base is one of the greatest "You just kicked the anthill" moments in all the campaigns. I had to drop a castle every couple of steps just to keep from getting pushed back by bullshit waves of cavalry. My path east was paved with skeletons.
Yep. I bocked all the beach of Yusuf's base with 3 castles. Then I launch waves of cheap Harlberdiers & Elite Skirmishers against Yusuf's waves of units
Just played this last night and I was constantly being harrassed by the Yellow Black gaurd on land and Yusef in the water. Yusef's fire galleys were devestating against my boats.
@@Smirnix66 it's important to put 1-2 villagers gathering stone from the beginning, once you reach the necessary amount, which happens quite quick, build fast a castle near the port. Once you defeat the blue, yellow attacks you, gets defeated by the castle and then you kick his ass.
I keep coming to this channel when i have problems i learned some stuff and was flying righr through by myself even if i lost a first battle. This time though i made a terrible mistake. I didnt go down from my city an let yellow build up i instantly took out the black army i think its called up above an took a bunch of sjips over to africa an started attacking while building resources while i didnt knoe 😂😭
King of valencia has you do nothing but train a few monks and conquistadors and you are all set. Conversions and counterattack. Easiest mission by far.
the cutscene resembled El Cid movie from 1961 whose stars are Charlton heson = moses from ten commandements en.wikipedia.org/wiki/El_Cid_(film) but there is a movie named rodrigo de villa from Phillipines en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rodrigo_de_Villa , i think the phillipines telling a corrupted version of el cid's story , the character's name is Rodrigo De viva seems like corrupted version of el cid's real name in this movie rodrigo de villa didn't fight berbers but really fought the turks
dude... I spent an hour putting people all over the map literally, because the match wouldnt end... Turned out, there was one last black guard army guy running around, not attcking me, and I had to kill him. Face palm moment.
I had the exact same problem except it was one tiny stables in the top right of the map that somehow didn't light up 😢 20mins wasted wandering around trying to figure out why I wasn't victorious yet 😂
After failing multiple times on standard mode, here’s what i did: get a university as quick as possible and research chemistry. Once that’s done, you have access to your cannon units. Get a couple docks built and get you economy in “navy” mode. Create a ton of cannon galleys, move into the southern town and wipe them out. Then take out the main 3 castles with your navy. Good to go. Oh and build lots of guard towers in valencia to fight back the invasions. Hope this helped, good luck
El Cid's death story as it is narrated here, is completely historically inaccurate. El Cid was neither shot by a stray arrow during the battle, nor his wife strapped him dead on his horse so that his soldier could see him. El Cid DID actually participate in the battle against the Berbers. He vanquished them completely and died 5 years later, on July 10 1099, of natural causes. Whoever wrote this plot is a large-type jerk! If you wanna portray a character, write about him the way it really was, don't embellish with some foolish stories that are totally invalid.

Saying no units but elephants can 1v1 paladins while same moment a monk 1v1 killed your pala XD
Dramatic irony
well, the monk didnt killed the pala, the pala just evaded heresy by killing himself

I find King of Valencia WAAAAAAY harder than this scenario.
King of Valencia was easy af

@@AkshatSTR8EDGE straight up. Since 70% of the enemy army is paladins all you need is halbs and conqs for the rest

Yesterday I did this again, wanted the golden medal. Black Guard Army attacked Dead El Cid in a point, and he..regenerated after :D
Holy shit so much gold at the navy's base... can't not loose
Where did the wonder go? :D
Desperate times. We had to literally melt it down to make a big pile of gold ;)
The female voice narration in the old non-DE version was far more superior than this voice.

Don't know why I'm watching this, can't beat Valencia...
Me too😂
Wall the bridge at the start. Easiest win ever.
Such an advantage with a PC

It's a game dickhead.
