My brothers and I did the same thing for my dad. Restored his classic mustang. After having it for 2 yrs., he passed away. My sister in law told my older bro. to sell it. She wanted the entire money. But my mother has it. She's giving it to my daughter in 2 yrs., when she turns 18. Not even I can drive it! Crazy mother! Lol!

Last year I bought my dad a 1955 Double Die Lincoln Cent for his 75th birthday, the last coin he needed to complete his collection. 25 years ago I bought him the 1909-S VDB Lincoln Cent for his 50th birthday. He doesn't have a lot of time left, so I'm glad he gets to enjoy his collection. Worth every "penny".
Must be great to get such a nice gift. Have my classic 80 Z28 rusting and falling apart with no means to repair it! Had to repair my neck instead! Well maybe one day I can finally have the means to fix it.
