As Ted Kravitz rightly said in the Notebook today, you’re always the man with the information! Been a fan since 2020 when I was in the hospital for 9 months straight and haven’t missed a video since. I live in Nevada, but it’s still just too expensive.

@@Military872 except it's not "the americans" making the prices up, majority of us can't even afford this shit and this is coming from someone who is in the top 5% of earners here. this is a clear cash grab from the F1 higher ups that get quite the % of profit share at the end of the day. i know it's always easy to blame the americans because you guys across the pond generally don't have any idea what you're talking about so if you must have someone to blame - it should be the arabs in charge..

You are spot on about the hotels. I was looking at rooms myself. $400-$500 range for the Hilton or Caesars. $900 for the Nobu hotel. Huge drop from where they were a few months ago.
Wynn/Encore are still charging about $2500 per night for the cheapest room

You will usually see him right next to Christian and Helmut after the race when Max comes up to hug them. Look for a bucket hat, that’s usually Kym!
I honestly think I'll be just as happy sitting on my couch watching the race on my TV with a bottle of Maker's Mark 46 within reach. I'm easily pleased.
It will be a worldclass spectacular event with all the glitz and glamour imaginable. And just for kicks, around midnight or so, they might have an automobile race that some folks might see.
Love hearing this perspective on attending F1 event, although way out of my league (not even on my horizon)!

Yes could spend huge amounts at LV - but in a less obvious way you could also do so at many other Grands Prix if you got a private jet there, stayed at an extremely high end city centre hotel, took limousines everywhere, ate at expensive restaurants everywhere and so on. The issue at LV is not really how much you COULD spend, but the prices touched on at the end as to how LITTLE you could spend and still be able to attend. That is still on the high side (though not off the scale compared with some European events), and if I wanted to attend a US event at all it would be the US Grand Prix at COTA in Austin, which is a magnificent track, not the mickey mouse tracks at Miami or LV.

My husband and me married in a Vegas wedding chapel. Fancy reception, fancy wedding dinner. And then the L. hotel. This is how we are. I love VERSACE silk shirts and our basic jeans, sneaks, t-shirts are from Walmart etc.

And finally, thanks for reminding me of about many reasons why I don’t attend formula one races in person. It’s just waaaay too expensive. Fantasy - I’m excited to see what a USA and/or global economic recession will do to F1 viewership and event attendance $$$$ in the future. Hopefully that recession will result in at least a overall 50% reduction in event pricing !!! Then, I will reconsider “ever” going to another F1 race in person with the wife & children. Until then, I will be cheering from my family room couch for nearly FREE. OOPS , WELL not here IN CALIFORNIA , where THE very average HOME MORTGAGE IS ALMOST $7,000 per month for 2,700 square feet (251 square Meters) of living space , so I guess it’s not for FREE ? Lol lol lol - OUCH !!!😂😂😂

It would be nice if they could freeze that price of 5 million dollars for that 1 weekend (whut?) package, because my calculations estimate that during the next ice age I will be able to attend then...
It’s so crazy how expensive f1 Vegas is. I had two Monaco tickets fully catered with unlimited food and booze all weekend ( hermitage rooftop, las rascasse, cafe Milano and a hotel) for less than the price of one Vegas ticket which doesn’t include hotel obviously. The caveat is recently that expensive Vegas ticket has dropped nearly 3k in price bribing it closer to Monaco but still more expensive…. Monaco > Vegas obviously
I think the extra $56 would be worth not hanging around in the Atlanta airport.

Kym, you’ve walked through the partially built paddock. Is there likely to new view of the circuit from the paddock or is it likely to be like Abu Dhabi for example where you can’t really see anything?

Absolutely wish I could reserve a spot, it would be better than the one and only time I attended a formula one at Monza in 2022 for nearly $1200 usd a ridiculous sum , and dennys with better track side food and likely a 1000% cleaner bathroom(s)

do you know or have you heard how to get into the Opening Ceremony on Wednesday Night?
You have to either have a paddock ticket, or buy a main start/finish grandstand ticket (specifically east harmon zone). Opening ceremony is only available for those 2 specific sections
