Christ means anointed one not someone who anoints people to anoint someone historically for the most part just means ceremonially purifying someone with a liquid baptism could be viewed in this way. The only places you see drugs be administered in this way is in mystery groups. He could have been a special person in a mystery group. But to say he’s the designated lsd dropper for people’s eyes is a stretch

@@AscendtheMatter yes people get anointed but there is no eye drug of anointment at this time. Xrios definitely doesn’t mean that. • @maxsrandomvideos-
      @maxsrandomvideos- 3 месяца назад

@@scottmcloughlin4371 I’m talking about historical possibilities not biblical accounts because most of those accounts are recycled stories or stories to make a false narrative. We have to take these stories and ask what are they really trying to say or what are they trying to hide or where have we seen this before. Historically spit never helped anyone’s eyes however there have been healers known to do so. Historically there weren’t ceremonial compounds for this that is commonly known. As for what Ammon says I don’t entirely disagree but a mystic revolutionary is more of what seems plausible.

    • @dmsdad6866
      @dmsdad6866 3 месяца назад

      Not so.
Messiah means anointed on. Christ means anointed, and more often than not (in texts outside the Bible), christ was simply anointing bandages, rags, wounds...with drugs.
Christ just so happened to be the word the Greek writers chose to use as a translation of messiah.

Growing up Mormon we were indoctrinated to never doubt faith, which is just obsurd. Just as a surgeon can not operate from faith or belief, same goes if you are seeking truth. There are things that are for certain and where that ends faith and belief fill in the blanks, but those blanks are not for certain. Knowledge and skill will always overcome superstition and luck. If you seek truth you can eventually find it but if you become lazy or complacent you can become dogmatic and dogma is the tyranny of conformity.

correct. ❤ No hate, just different opinions.
Ammon has gone deeper into the studies of greek.
Dan has merged hebrew with greek.
The importance has to be taken from what John the Baptist was speaking and what John the Baptist meant when he told Jeshua before He went to those 40 days in the desert that He is the Hristos.
From my knowledge this is the point in history when Jeshua was referred to for the first time as Hristos.
Hristos was a title. This is what John meant: he is THE ONE, like Morpheus told Neo = the anointed one. John the Baptist gave Jeshua a title.
That means that both are right, but, in different contexts.
What is curious is that only the priests were anointed to be in touch with the divinity in that time, and only by giving Jeshua this title brought the attention of the Hebrew priests.
Practically Jeshua from Nazareth was judged by the community for being called Hristos. Back in the day it was blasphemy, as only the priests could do, through rituals, through applying drugs to virgins to get to be stung by the gadfly so their eyes could be open. Later on, after the use of that drug, the virgins, through rituals would become oracles. It could not be something natural - just by pure nature.
This brought curiosity and attention upon Jeshua.
John the Baptist knew this and this action only brought them both, in the end their death.

because those who use christos (think dmt drops in eye) can speak to god, and can probably channel many other "gods" and beings. some say these are jester spirits, aliens, future us. theres a whole book on speaking to nostradamus by dolores cannon. i would look into her stuff, she used hypnosis to speak to your past self in past life regressions, nostradamus came through and told her of his prophecys, and the subconscious can come in to heal the body. some practitioners like alba weinman on youtube, use similar techniques to speak to past lives of ourselves, as far back as ancient greece. many "gods" come through on her channel. so lords being called gods because they controlled that stuff or it allowed them to speak to god makes sense. but hillman explains women were of spiritual power, not men. thats why men got so physically large, to compensate. and why witches in modern day would eventually be killed off

At 16:08 Danny Jones makes the comment that it "perplexes him that so many scholars subscribe to the thing that they're studying"...Dan McLellan says that it seems "convenient" that it always lines up with what they want it to say.
However, this seems to be the case with anyone that comes from a specific starting point, like in Matt Dillahunty's case. He wasn't an agnostic that just didn't know but really wanted to know. He came from the starting position that there is no God, and I find it so convenient that he continues to find "eveidence" that keeps him in this belief system.
Same with you Dan, you're a Mormon that was probably taught growing up that God has a Father...Of course Dan still believes this because of the DSS textual variant of Deut. 32:8 that reads "sons of God" instead of "children of Israel". I find it convenient...why? Dan is choosing to accept the sugar packet sized textual variant of Deut:32:8 instead of the Masoretic reading, which is also attested in the Dead Sea Scrolls! He has both options but conveniently chooses the one that agrees with his initial starting point.

We know exactly what they meant in the bible!! Im not sure what you guys are talking about. We have all the earliest versions of the bible. We have the Dead Sea scrolls which are written in mostly Hebrew, with some Aramaic & Greek. We know exactly what every word means, and because we started as Hebrew Jews that broke off into Christianity, we know that the same customs were kept. The Jews have been very strict with keeping records, and keeping the knowledge of the cultures, rituals, and customs. Then we have all the evidence from second hand witnesses who wrote down what they witnessed the Jews & Christians say & do. The bible, both Old Testament - which is the part of the bible we study & give acknowledgment of our Jewish Hebrew lineage. Which is the Tanak-or five books of Moses from the Torah. Then we have the New Testament which describes the history of how Yeshua came to be the Messiah. How he was tortured, crucified, died, and rose from the dead on the 3rd day. Where over 500 people saw him alive again and witnessed him speak. All of it, both Old & New are 100% historical in nature, not allegorical. We know by the thousands of different writtings by non-Jewish & Non-Christian historians from that time, who wrote down what they witnessed. We also have massive amounts of evidence in archeology. It is proven true more & more every single year by modern archeological finds all over the Middle East.

Ask this guy what language works with changing claiming " I", to now claiming they are
Watch out that no one deceives you.j 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.
In my language anyone claiming he's the Christ is a deceiver. He is a deceiver

I would suggest you check out the Egyptian word Karast = Krst from which the Hebrew word Messiah and Greek word Christos comes even as the word Israel which is also the origin of ISRAEL meaning Isis- Ra- EL or Isis Amun Ra is God from the Egyptian Language. Christ is a State of Divine Consciousness. The origin of the Egyptian word Karast is from Kemet before it became Egypt and means some one who is Anointed as a Hero in there life time and is derived from the ancient Kemet word Heru a reborn mummy. Check Gerald Massey's work and research about the subject. The bible contains the Phase Anti Christ 5 times only: 4 times in 1st John and Once in 2nd John and they all have reference to any one who does not have Christ Consciousness which is the Divine promise of being born from Above in a New Covenant Creation thru the Renewing of the fallen Soul = Mind. Just something to consider as you move forward in you Soul journey.

Christ is the Son of Man and Son of God. He rules in heaven, incarnated in the flesh at will for the petfect shot to lock this physical realm from reaching the higher planes until all evil is destroyed.
We are close, my brother's and sister's in Christ.
    Seek and you will find.
    Knock, and HE will answer.
No amount of physical or chemical stimulation compares to the trip that is a relationship with your CHRIST and CREATOR.
The written law is death, but the spirit giveth life!

Christ= Anointed one it is literally the Greek version of the Hebrew for Messiah, a chosen savior that was for told to come. It means exactly the same in Greek as it means in English. You can’t just dig your context out of ancient text, which are not really ancient text, their interpretations of ancient text for which we don’t really understand those languages by modern scholars. This is true with Homer. This is not true with the Bible. We absolutely understand. The Greek of the Bible and context has to be the Jewish context starting with the old Testament. Otherwise you would be judging , one can of symbolism against another, which would make no sense. You cannot equate the rainbow which in the Hebrew context is the promise of God not to flood the world again with a bridge to the other world, which is the context or symbology Nordic mythology. This is exactly what the guy is trying to pull , the scripture is written in Greek as it was told by the Hebrews and Zachariah 9 The fact that it is written half in Greek was predicted in the Old Testament here. The context you used to interpret scripture has to be scripture itself.

People confuse how words change over time… F A G used to be a pile of sticks and G A Y used to be synonymous for happy. Nowadays we use terms like “ its F I R E” = awesome or “ C O O L” = classy/good. Both those changed just in the past two decades.
To take one fact to argue against the the entire narrative of the story doesnt help his point. It actually hurts it.

Christos is the fluid that travels down the spine and back to the seat of God the Pineal gland. Jacob said I have seen the face of the lord and you will find him in the place of Pineal. Coincidence I think not. Thank you William Donahue

Christ means the anointed one, which also means King, because Hebrew kings were anointed from the time of David (also meant that they were descendants of David and rightfully the line that can produce Kings). Today's English crown maintains a version of this tradition. Before doing random podcasts, it is better to rely on better sources. I'm not even Christian, but I'm looking so much because I study the Bible. After all, I found that it is interesting and presents some solutions to old problems. It is a literal translation of mashiach in the Old Testament (messiah in modern times). It is a recognition that he was the promised King that was prophetised. It is an affirmation that he was the fulfilment of the prophecy and he is the Truth. This interpretation is too farfetched. You may not understand the meaning, but you study the uses in the context they use to understand how it was used. It is mentioned enough times (530 times) to get the meaning. In all contexts of the Bible, it is used for prophetical purposes, for kings and prophets that have been anointed.

I agree and disagree, sure it can be to far to see but what drives you across the desert is not the details but what it means (you’re identity) with in, the spirit. A person can be easily identified but a group of persons create a spirit by definition a new meta person, How? Each individual group member has a perspective or imitation but together form the meaning or title, a virgin birth, from a metaphorical seed made into flesh but then people misinterpret and make a human centipede 😂sorry😢 dark humor 😅. William sacrificed his life and was destroyed by the church before he can finish but, King James got a crap load of scholars to finish the New Testament and kept William Old Testament translation. We don’t need the details to that degree, the spirit is there, it’s personal as your Father is to you, do you need specific details to know your Father? Your parent’s spirit is testimonial and you build a relationship with them and it transcends beyond flesh, becomes truth as the Word. If your parents lose body parts are they no longer worthy of your honor?
In the beginning was the word and the word is God, the word made flesh, the alpha and omega, this transcends space and time. We’re the ones who are outdated, take a look around and compare minds not ruler sticks. Dr Ammond is a familiar, nothing new nor his satanic worship as Cain was introduced to Dracula and its fangs, Cain couldn’t bear being castaway from the Spirit. Medicine and advanced technology came from his bloodline and so Greek mythology. Eve and the snake bite caused hallucinations and communication with the snake therefore accepted the Anti-Christ as the antidote…she lost the word and became flesh, surely she died, Death is a transition, and she bite the apple and the audacity to think she could flip the hierarchy by convincing Adam to eat but her external influence couldn’t touch his heart and therefore his relationship with the Father couldn’t be shook. I guess the first domestic dispute 😊 Genesis and other books are the book of life, we are recorded now as we live and judge by its works, linage! Understand that and time no longer has a hold of you, it is you!❤
Of course my opinion and theory, only because of my personal relationship with the Trinity.
In the name of Jesus Christ praise Yahweh!

He’s applying oil which represents the spirit to the head of the anointed. Christ means anointed one which is a reference to the Messiah. All has to do with context from the old Testament you can’t just bring in for an elements if you had a basic understanding of Greek, you would understand why it can’t be used this way. It is determined by the context in the language, it’s not like English. This is just like sin telling you that an ancient text that only 10 people can read is talking about aliens but none of the other people who can read it even remotely agree with him. They know he is a bullshitter. he understands the language and is lying to Mass because he can get away with and sell books.

Your example at 10:24 simply proved your guest's point. Euripides was plainly asking if it was an ointment or a consumable. An ointment is a topical application of something and only the specific context can you determine what the topical application is. For example if I apply a fragrant oil to my skin I have anointed myself. If I apply axel grease to an axel to decrease friction I have anointed it. If I apply a healing salve to my dog's wound, I have anointed the wound. In all three cases the substance used was different but the physical act of application was the same.
As a further example, I am an herbalist and I make medicinal ointments but ointments need not be medicinal as I pointed out above.
You lost the debate my friend and in the process I'm sorry to say you looked ignorant.

Let’s be honest, we shouldn’t be saying Jesus Christ, the Greek translators added that word, the true title of Jesus is The Messiah.
Jesus The Messiah is the correct Biblical title of our savior.

Also, what other word would have been better used in greek to describe the verb “anointing”? Christ seems to fit perfectly. I.e. Jesus is the balm to sin and anointed like the kings of old. Makes perfect sense why this word was used.

“Here look at Jude 22 the end of the Bible”
These are the same beliefs that we will all become Gods and be eternal and create our own earth and become our own God the Father.
    Dangerous…
