I don't understand why none of the Indian fast bowlers bowled from the other side of the wicket earlier to Gayle. their chances of getting an inside edge would have been a lot bigger, and maybe they could have gotten Gayle out.

Gayle isn't that good of a test opener, he got runs on flat pitches in the last test of the series when its lost.
