As a die hard vikings fan i remember this game like it was yesterday. I was 13yrs old at the time and cried when the vikes lost 21-7. When he was on Tommy Kramer was awesome. One day soon we will win that Super bowl title. GO Vikes !

I used to love these Redskins as a child. John Riggins was my favorite player! That was my dude! 👊

6-10 inches of snow 🤣Weathermen called for same thing the following week. 38 degrees at game time vs Dallas. As a school age kid growing up near DC the weathermen were hated!

As a young Vikings fan, all I can remember about this game was how difficult it was to stop Riggins. Following the Vikings touchdown, Theismann came up with some clutch throws. After the penalty to set them back, he had the clutch pass under pressure to overcome the penalty. A few more big passes, including the TD, put Washington back in control. When the Vikings responded by driving to the Washington 20 and failing to score, it was basically over.

I was a teenager and I was right behind that in seats behind the End zone at RFK when Darrell Green did that 4th down pass deflection nearly a decade later. (Had that not happened, the Vikings going to yet another Superbowl.) The Redskins were INVINCIBLE that year. However THAT '91 VIKINGS team only, pretty much, (aside from Aikman Cowboys in a loss. We sat our players out on game 16) pushed them to the scary edge of DEFEAT that year

This is my first time seeing the broadcast of this game because I was in the stands that day! My friend's dad got tickets and told us he had a surprise for us. When we drove up to RFK we were shocked. The stadium was electric the whole time.
