It's normal when you're experiencing intense grief or painful emotions not to maintain eye contact. It doesn't mean anything suspicious. But in a situation like this, it's hard not to look at people with a lense of doubt.
It is not our place to judge how genuine his grief is, though to me it seems valid; perhaps played up for the camera, which is not unusual. As someone who also has anger issues, I too have done things that I wish I hadn't, mostly to people I love. I am grateful that they all have lived long enough to believe my sincere regret, and most have enough contact that I've been able to make some sort of amends. He won't have that chance anymore.

@Custom Made All love intended, but you've misunderstood repentance. Read the New Testsment, specifically the story of John the Baptist, with repentance in mind. The Greek word literally breaks down into fashioning your thinking into God's will. Repentance is the abstaining from doing that which is unpleasant to God. Read Hebrews 10:27. There is no blood atonement for sin committed willingly after coming to Christ. Christ washes us from prior sin, and any we do after coming to Him, we must repent and forgive others in order to be forgiven.
Boyfriend did it. He spends a lot of time talking about things from the killer's perspective Saying they should "forget about the killer" is him leaking that he hopes the investigation hits a wall and that he isn't exposed.
So I just did a little digging and as of today April 9, 2021, there has been no arrest in this case which is very disheartening to say the least. Prayers for her family and her daughter. Ya know, we keep seeing these kinds of cases increase as time goes by, and it's painfully obvious that as a society we are dropping the ball, we are lacking certain skills in our communities that are so vital to keeping us all safe and protected. What ever happened to good old fashioned detective work? I think we are in dire need of fresh graduates of the criminal justice and forensic science degrees. We need new detectives, I have often thought about starting my own private detective business, especially considering the reward handouts on some of these cases but more importantly I'm really starting to get uncomfortable knowing there are so many cold blooded unknown killers walking free in the streets of America, not to mention all of the unknowns we have walking across the border right now, it almost feels like the sabotage of our nation.
Stop being the illegals into this. Doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from. Cannot categorize every illegal immigrant as a killer. Shame on you white discharge packet

@@pastelmask Somehow I don't buy it. Her own mother and brother are holding it together far more when it's palpable how much pain her brother is in but this chap who wasn't even married to her or in a very serious relationship with her is all over the place. Or maybe he's a drug addict or alcoholic or something because it's just too much. This is a TV show. He can always ask them to pause and go off camera and compose himself. Something is pretty off about him. If he's such an uncontrollably emotional person, who knows why, maybe his emotions take over him enough for him to hurt another person too. We cannot give him any benefit of the doubt from what's shown here.
Why don't you help them out in the case. Why if this happened to your daughter, sister or someone you loved..wouldnt you want someone to speak up on their behalf?
Man. That guy is going through some emotions. Not saying he knows more then what he is letting on but he seems more emotional then the mother and brother.
Every person grieves differently for a loss. Just because the mother and brother weren't as emotional on screen as the boyfriend was doesn't mean that the boyfriend is playing up to the cameras. He's obviously in pain. He's obviously grieving. He's obviously trying to come to terms with his loss. He probably feels bad over how he treated her and is thinking that if he was there with her, she wouldn't have died. However, just because he's emotional when he's talking about Ashley, doesn't mean he's guilty or is trying to hide anything.
Don't hang out at bars, they are a magnet for losers. Nothing good happens outside of your home at night. Even in nice safe towns. Stay home, nothing is as important as your family and faith. Peace!

pretty obvious the cop told him who it prolly is....the person who left around the same time as her. he wouldnt come on this show 10 years after the fact if he did it...what would be the point of risking that...
Been binging these, and have watched several in the past, this is probably the first one that got to me…the interview with Parker nearly brought me to tears, the heartbreak and regret are so clear 😢
I grew up in San Rafael. Safe, solid town in Marin County. This tavern is downtown on the main street of the town with lots of people around and is in a very safe area. She got caught by a predator. Wrong place, wrong time. My heart goes out to her family. God bless her soul.
There's something about Parker. He just seems very off, no eye contact, can't sit still, shaking. There's grief and then there is guilt and he, in my opinion, is riddled with guilt. Whether he committed the murder or not, he is extremely guilty of something having to do with this case.
So the boyfriend raped and murder her behind the parking lot? Usually, that's not the case. If a spouse murder their partner, its usually just murder. Rape usually doesn't occur.
I can tell *Parker* has had his own issues & struggles in the past, but bettered himself & it’s unfortunate that *Ashley* never got to see him turn himself around. Fly high beautiful 🤍
Guilty people rarely talk to crime shows dude, think about it. He may be a bit weird and wobbly but clearly he's distraught over the loss of his long time girlfriend. I wish people wouldn't be so quick to judge as soon as they see someone acting different than how they think they would act in front of a camera. He's actually the least suspicious of all of them. Food for thought
@@cherrylee1103 he is 100 percent innocent. I conduct investigations for a living. His whole body screams innocent. He is leaning forward, no dupers smile, no misdirection...he is innocent. Eye contact has nothing to do with guilt. In fact, most guilty people force eye contact to throw people off. Liars always study how to get away with lying.
Her poor boyfriend, he is in so much pain. My heart just breaks for him. He seems like he really and deeply cared for Ashley. I cant even imagine what kind of pain he is going through.
I thought the no eye contact, shifty eyes, squirming & fidgeting in his seat were all signs towards anxiety of SOME SORT... whether by guilt or if he's just uber shy and awkward ?? Body language definitely threw me too, but the SOUND of his voice and the way he says shes the only woman he's ever loved kinda pulled me back into trusting him. Maybe that's right where he wants me! (us) LOL
When people go through intense grief or are very emotional it is normal to avoid eye contact. Eye contact during a very emotional moment can feel too intimate for many people when they're upset. I've avoided eye contact when I've been talking about something very painful too. It's very overwhelming. People who make extra effort to maintain eye contact are usually more likely to be lying (from what I've heard). I don't know if the guy is guilty or not, but I do know grief can make people behave strangely (speaking from personal experience). I hope whoever did this gets caught.

Except majority of the DNA was washed away in the rain that's why it came back inconclusive. They don't have any real evidence that yields unreasonable doubt yet.
If he don't get caught now, he'll be in hell for eternity...
World Most Amazing Vines & Videos ,Yes I agree with you, he will be in Hell...You must repent of all sin before you leave this world...
If he does get caught now, he will still go to hell for eternity.
Heaven and hell ain’t real get a grip on reality
You hot, but hell doesn't is a thing
Boyfriend did it. He spends a lot of time talking about things from the killer's perspective Saying they should "forget about the killer" is him leaking that he hopes the investigation hits a wall and that he isn't exposed.
I think he just wants the case to he solved. Poor guy is in pain, and he just wants closure for his deceased loved one.
At the end he said let’s forget about the guy who did this
So I just did a little digging and as of today April 9, 2021, there has been no arrest in this case which is very disheartening to say the least.
@@kathenryyy916 it's no secret that lots of people coming over our border illegally are not so good, so I most certainly will bring it up, I'm sorry you feel offended but if you're not breaking the law you shouldn't take offense. I judge people by the content of their character not by where they were born or skin color... I myself am native American Cherokee so you can take your white comment and shove it... I am way more colorful than just plain old white.

I'm getting weird vibes from the ex boyfriend tbh...
ME TOO, He's doing to much and too little all at once. The cursing and all that just seems like a front he's putting on for the camera to avoid seeming like he doesn't care. He's allowing the CONSTANT CURSING to compensate for the tears that he's BARELY able to SQUEEZ OUT!!!
@@minniejones4608 bruh I was thinking the same thing...he was doing the most and the least... consecutively
Jernelle Rosales me too, not even the mom or brothers are getting that worked up..
@@hujajiblamble3337 EXACTLY!!! He's definitely hiding something....and if he did do it One day when he least expects it, they gonna come collect his lying ass.
I think the ex bf killed her and the police know but can’t prove it because they don’t have enough evidence he sounds like a sociopath
It was someone that lived in the apartment. He watched her when she went in and waited for her outside.
I agree. I saw something similar happened on RUclips. This happened at a cabin in a National Park on the West Coast.
He's getting loaded you can tell he didn't do it
The boyfriend's weird, too. He wasn't making any eye contact
Yeah he was definitely weird, he said, “after the first interview (with the police) I didn’t feel like I was a suspect”. Who the hell says that? I didn’t feel like I was a suspect?!
He's totally overdoing the emotions too.
It can be difficult for someone to make eye contact in a situation like this, considering the stress, the emotions, etc.
@@meera2531 I wouldn't say he's overdoing it. When we had to put my dog to sleep we were all an absolute mess. When someone close to someone dies, everyone handles it differently. Some people bottle up emotions, and some people get emotional every time they talk about the death.
You know, one day technology is going to improve....
This happened in my town! I used to frequent 4th street tavern too. There's rumors as to who did it. I knew the guy and it gives me chills to this day
WHO?
Paulo Eclectik wtf is wrong with u
Who ???
Why don't you help them out in the case. Why if this happened to your daughter, sister or someone you loved..wouldnt you want someone to speak up on their behalf?
@@4islandbeauty I gave all the information I had.
Amanda Mc Carthy Jesus Christ. There's always at least one self proclaimed behavior analyst in the comments.
he's guilty, cops know it.. he looks it in the interview.. evidence will eventually prove it, check back in a few years

Don't hang out at bars, they are a magnet for losers. Nothing good happens outside of your home at night. Even in nice safe towns. Stay home, nothing is as important as your family and faith. Peace!

They say the bartender is part of this case.seems like it could be the father of ashleys child.
Is it me or the boyfriend is acting a bit weird and odd... hmmm

My thoughts are with her family.. you can tell she was an absolute joy in their lives. And Parker.... man. He broke my heart. You can absolutely tell he's got his heart on his sleeve, and hes destroyed. It's all too obvious he has NOTHING to do with it, and that man is broken. Keep your chin up Parker❤ And again, sending loving thoughts to her family..... I'm so, so sorry for your loss. I lost a loved one to murder and its something you cant understand until you live it. It's a different animal than any other type of loss... and that animal is vicious.
I think it's the bartender
So sad for the daughter who by now is a young woman. I'm comforted by the fact that she had a strong family to support her.
Either the boyfriend is in anguish or he's hiding something. I get a weird feeling off him.
Lady Farona Me too! There’s something about him that I feel is off. I hope I’m wrong! Rip Ashley 😢
I think it's anguish. I get the impression this broke the poor guy. His life is probably a mess, could be using drugs to cope. There are plenty of explanations for weird vibes.
if you watch him in the end you will notice that he is acting like he needs a fix. his body movements are those of someone on drugs.
@@killerb1841 You're a sad human being. Maybe he is a drug addict, it doesnt make him a fucking murderer though. You probably dont know what he is going through, but go ahead and judge.

She sounds so great to even just be around. Hopefully this case gets solved 💔
I believe Parker is genuine in his interview. Poor guy must feel kinda guilty not having gone to the bar that night. Sad story 😢
You can hear the pain in his eyes!!! 😭
Thanks for the upload👍🏼 The love the boyfriend felt for Ashley is palpable, as is the pain and anguish over the senselessness of it all. It’s true, no real man would do that to a woman.
I love her Mother's voice !! I am so sorry for this Family's loss !! She looked like she was a fun and loving Lady !!
I want the bartender and owners name. Maybe some pressure from the public would make them talk
That poem the brother read was beautiful. I hope the family can find peace in their lives.
What if she went to the bar to get a few drinks and then she started telling the bartender she was moving out of state and then the bartender set her up by telling someone her whereabouts so they can hurt her.

He’s a drug user....
@@maryronan9758 who also...KILLED HER

This in particular is hard for me to listen to. Hearing the brothers pain from losing his sister reminds me of how it was losing my older brother. When my other brother called me telling me our brother was killed, I thought it was a joke until more people started reaching out.

Autumn Bray Yep and if it was a solved murder about a mother you’d still be bitching! Ohh how unfortunate that I don’t think and say what you want me to say! Boo Hoo Hoo.
To paraphrase David Chappelle on the cancel culture we live in “ don’t freakin read the comments-- you chose to read the comments-- so don’t be surprised when folks don’t parrot what you want them to say... at the end of the day they all should have been at AA meetings not hanging out at a bar....

Autumn Bray I didn’t say you were upset..
zorazora zorzzora regardless, I didn’t make that comment because you didn’t say what I wanted you to.

I grew up in San Rafael. Safe, solid town in Marin County. This tavern is downtown on the main street of the town with lots of people around and is in a very safe area. She got caught by a predator. Wrong place, wrong time. My heart goes out to her family. God bless her soul.
That's odd cause everyone else says it's kinda shady area crawling with homeless people
Poor girl. Prayers for family. It's not safe to go to bars alone.
“People don’t like to talk to the cops” if they are up to no good. Normal people have no problem talking to cops.
There's something about Parker. He just seems very off, no eye contact, can't sit still, shaking. There's grief and then there is guilt and he, in my opinion, is riddled with guilt. Whether he committed the murder or not, he is extremely guilty of something having to do with this case.
I think I'd be looking a little closer at that boyfriend with the anger issues. Alot of red flags there.
Why am I still suspicious of the boyfriend
So the boyfriend raped and murder her behind the parking lot? Usually, that's not the case. If a spouse murder their partner, its usually just murder. Rape usually doesn't occur.
It was the detective for sure
I can tell *Parker* has had his own issues & struggles in the past, but bettered himself & it’s unfortunate that *Ashley* never got to see him turn himself around. Fly high beautiful 🤍
i don't believe the bar owner, tender, employees, to be responsible. the bf's behaviour is hinky and strange all over the place.
The bf seems really innocent to me
@@lexiemaep7930 look at his body language. won't look the interviewer in the eye, fidgeting, nervous.

Parker has no eye contact at all with the interviewer....wierd...
I do that sometimes, if I'm emotional, that eye contact will make my eyes start raining.
@@steffyrae222 same!!
How can you tell they had no eye contact? The camera only shows them one at a time. He was distraught.
I don't know what it is but the boyfriend giving me bad vibes. I strongly think he is responsible.
I didn't get bad vibes from him at all, but I do know that I have been duped before.
