      This is a boy - man who in the beginning says he was fully ready to step up to the plate to be everything for his son, ( not wife and son) and then a little later says "us". Who exactly is " us". His mother who fell in love with his son, and could not in any way let go of here own son when never takes responsibility. For a loving father it took him several weeks before he took serious note of his son's loss extreme loss of weight before deciding to take his son to hospital. That is simply not a father stepping up to the plate. He should have been there every day, aware of what was going on. He was obviously not involved in any way with mealtimes, let alone the mental decline in his wife, who could have been suffering from post birth depression. He was incompetent and sounds like an immature mama's boy.
      A lot wrong with this whole situation . His mother comes across as having been very strong and dominating/ intimidating, using emotions to push things around. Her tragic face reeks of guilt. Too much blame thrown by him at his wife. His emotional immaturity and total lack of responsibility is a major red flag. Chilling.

      I've been through this with my former, bad-tempered shrew of a mother in law. In the end I thought "To hell with it, she's going to get the truth." And I actually said to her "Look, why don't you just get into bed with him, and get it over with?" Obviously I was prepared to be verbally and/or physically assaulted for saying something so awful, but she just stood there looking thoughtful. There was no other reaction either then or later, and it was never mentioned.

      @KNxkyle82 clearly not. If a son or daughter choose their path, it is not up to the parents to intervene. It was your duty to teach them how to navigate through life and society. But not to meddle in their business once they've taken their decisions.
      Each one of us have to face consequences. Or, be able to live the best of our lives. What it is best for him/her, might not be for you. And guess what? It is fine, cause you're already living your life, you've already made your mistakes. Your children have the right to their own life.
      "Mothers know best" is so toxic because what is best for a person, is individual. Not according to any parents' standards.
      This is how my husband stopped his narcissistic mother from her continued ab*se and I stopped mine from even trying to hurt him.

    It’s common and expected for newborns to lose weight up to a month afterwards. Not all babies do, but it’s very common until they get feeding and suckling down pat. Their justification for taking custody is asinine.

    • @Pugetwitch
      @Pugetwitch Год назад +45

      Exactly! I don't understand, especially if the mother was nursing. It could be stressful after having a baby in milk production doesn't always come in until over a month after, especially if the baby is struggling with latching. She should have been working with a nursing consultant, I can't believe these red states. Appear in Washington the courts never would have given away custody because of that. A public defender would have explained what was happening with a newborn and given the mom more of a chance to provide nourishment. Especially if she was fatigued from hormone imbalances postpartum.

Biggest example I can think in resent years is Amber heard and how many people thought Johnny Depp was the problem, only to be shown how violent she was. • @Pugetwitch
      @Pugetwitch Год назад +12

      It's hella messed up, obviously the woman was having problems producing milk and that's why the baby had failure to thrive, she likely also had postpartum issues with hormonal imbalances causing extreme fatigue, after my second baby I had hormonal imbalances and it made me sleep the majority of the time. I still produced a lot of milk but I've never had trouble with production. Every woman is different, my cousin was unable to produce milk and she chose to feed her baby formula, and then she was judged horribly by her friends because of that. If she wasn't giving formula, her baby would have lost a significant amount of weight and then I'm sure she would have been judged for that, too. As a mother, we have really difficult challenges and I can't believe that they tried to take custody of that baby because she was having problems nursing and staying awake.

    I will never forget one of my most physically beautiful very close friends,when we were teens, telling me that being physically beautiful was the biggest burden burden in her life, because she could never trust anyone fully. They all just went for her outward appearance without every beginning to try to get to know who she really was. She was highly sensitive, compassionate and creative. Loved dressing up well, never overtly sexy. She didn't have to be. Always genuine, gentle and a romantic, in spite of a very difficult childhood.
    Romantic in her singing and writing, as someone who just wanted everyone to be alright, both to escape and explore how she knew and felt real about. I can attest to the fact, thank God that she's married to the same man after 40 years, with children and grandchildren in a very honest real family. I thought her first real boyfriend was an extremely good looking playboy. Initially that was true but he couldn't get over her genuine caring and sensitivity. He changed his cassinover ways over a year or two and then it was just the two of them, but right from the beginning their was this definite sense that he just knew she was right for him, even though he did try to underplay it. She just never stopped being who she was while , remaining true to him in her heart. He was never jealous nor competitive about her. Just very drawn to her.
    Wonderful to see that happen between two people who are together to this day and l know they always will be. The biggest thing was that neither of them wanted the other to be different for their own needs.
    They really were unwittingly drawn to each other, with the inevitable hurts and friction.
    She is now a very alive wife, mother and grandmother, in the truest sense of the word.
    Some people can literally let go of their beauty and physical attraction to others and other people's need them to be so.
    She remains my role model. Thank you Penny ❤

    It seems clear that the mother in the murder-for-hire case was suffering from postpartum depression. This should have been a medical issue, not a question for the courts and a custody battle. But mental health services in rural Alabama are notoriously poor and sufferers are stigmatised, so it seems that the whole situation was mishandled. Once the mother had recovered, of course she should have had access - a kid needs a mother. The father and grandmother decided to demonise the mother instead of helping her get back on her feet. Truly horrible people.

      That is absolutely false. Babies, especially when they are breast fed may lose a pound or so after birth. Breast milk has more water content than fatty content, that sometimes even with round the clock feeding a baby will lose some weight. Not to mention from day-to-day you will lose and gain weight depending on your stomach contents, and trips to the toilet. Being outside the womb and having the opportunity to move freely may also be another way to calorie burn for an infant.
      Not every baby just puts on weight like nothing. Some metabolize food much faster. Also it would be hard to notice if the baby was a pound lighter shortly after giving birth. Especially if it's your first baby.

    Who contacted the undercover informatant ?
    Any normal person, imperfect as they are, knows that murder is never ever a solution. If you are given coded suggestions by someone to get rid of a roach, you go with your phone texts straight to the that's enough with them to work with. The son literally gives me chills.

      The mother sleeping a lot sounds like also a medical issue or depression

      Might have had a hard time to get baby latching to the breast properly or her milk might have not came in yet completely. if she was in a blue state like Washington, she would have been set up with a lactation consultant and screened for postpartum depression or psychosis and hormonal imbalances. They would have set her up with some ancillary services to help her. Alabama sucks!

    This very similar to the Kiely Rodney case I believe 2 years ago. Her SUV was found sumbmerged underwater and her body was in the trunk although the car was pointing nose down on the lake bottom. Two windows were open, the car was in neutral , her phone location was turned off a few minutes before, also it took a RUclips dive team less than 3 hrs to find her car, although police searched for 2 days in the same lake. And it was ruled an accident until anything changes.

    There are ALWAYS two sides to every story! She could have been reacting to something that was given to her at the hospital. Some ex's love to make up stories about the other to get custody usually so they don't have to pay child support or being vindictive! My ex lied about me but thank God during the trial it all came out and I won custody! I would not want any child to be raised by a family that is willing to kill the mother or father over something like that!
