Back in the good old days, one of my Dirt Bike buddy's Grandma had a '76 Monte Carlo, Sometimes when we went crusin' Grandma would let us borrow her car. And being the good friend, would let me drive so I could get some seat time as a newly licenced driver. That was the smoothest best driving car I'd ever driven! Up until I drove another friends '86 Rolls Royce, but thats, another story! Beautiful car, and if I had some extra MOOLAH, I'd have already relieved you of it. Love your vids and desciptions of the cars👍
Very sharp ride, looks like it's got the Monte Carlo swivel bucket seats, this won't last long 💯
This was my very first car back in '82 when I was 17. It was my mother's old car and my parents gave it to me when they got a new one. It was the exact same color scheme too. Only mine had the bench seat with the column shift and not the buckets with the console. It WAS a beautiful riding car for a Chevrolet. MAN was it hard keeping that white landau top clean! I was always scrubbing that thing with a wire brush and cleaner. I can't believe the prices they want for these things today. By the late '80's, you couldn't give these cars away! LOL
This year of Monte Carlo holds a special place with me.
My Aunt had the same year. I learned how to drive in this car and even took my drivers test in the Monte Carlo.
Awesome time capsule ❤! That annoying 70's buzzer 🐝is part of my childhood . Out of all the cars you've shown this week this would have to be my pick.
Beautiful! I had a 77 I bought in 1981 with 67k miles on it. It had swivel bucket seats, and the previous owner put Corvette rims on her. It was a road machine for sure! The 305 it had got 22mpg as well. Good times!
Always loved the old Monte Carlo; this one doesn’t disappoint.
That's probably the original miles because that's a really nice car I'm surprised y'all had it on the lot long enough to do a test drive video it's a clean 76 . Whoever buys it needs to keep it stock. Way to go Maple Motors you got a nice Monte Carlo
Don't see many of those around any more, should sell FAST!!!!!
If I had the cash I would buy it in a HEARTBEAT!!!!
@@1223jamez It would be a good one to have.
I have one of these. It has 15,000 miles on it from new and it truly is the most beautiful car ever
@@TRACYxBEAKER Very cool!!!!
I had a 75 in 82, I bought a 396 big block from a pro drag racer a put it in my Monte, talk about a tire smoker, my friends called it the space shuttle, lots of fun and lots of street drags.
Someone took care of it . That one has a lot of extras auto in floor sunroof sweet ride.!
Ease of driving was what these cars were all about. Super power steering and brakes. Cushy ride that smooths over bumps. Yet still sporty in a way. My friend in college had a Monte Carlo this same year and it brings back fond memories.
My first gf dad had one in black. He had it lowered and slightly customized. What intrigued me the most was, the car didn't have door handles. So always wondered how he opened the doors and he wouldn't tell me. Lol. Once I saw him leave and peeped out the window and saw how it's done. He had a toggle switch or button up under the front ds fender and the door popped open.
Nice car but my favorite year for the monti Carlo was 1972 nicer looking body style
Always liked these cars my neighbor had one just like this with the 350 in it very nice riding car 👍
I’ve had 3 77 Monte Carlo’s. 2-Black,1-White all Landaus.Currently looking for another 77
Sopranos could add an extra 2 bodies under the hood.
OK, I have a story worth telling about my "76 Monte Carlo with a 454 cubic inch mill and 4 barrel carb.
I was going up the 110 freeway toward LA when a brand new BMW pulled up right on my bumper. I had 4 people inside when this guy flashed his lights and pulled beside me. He wanted to show off his new BMW to his girlfriend.
I knodded my head and we took off. I immediately pulled ahead of him to about 115 miles per hour. I think he thought my land yacht would be left in the dust. Instead, I left him about 15 car lengths behind.
Moral of the story... You know the differrence between a porcupine and a BMW? A BMW has the pricks on the inside!
That's a very nice one and it's maroon best color I love the sound of the motor, they don't build real cars anymore and that one's got the good styling Square headlights but a cast iron engine block who could want anything else. You can't sell me an aluminum engine block. Not in hot Alabama the guy at the service shop says oh it's a blown head gasket and I say oh yeah it's an aluminum engine. How can I sell those things in the south.
Always liked these style Monte Carlos. When I was a kid in the 70's, my favorite Uncle bought an almost identical car brand new; it was also a '76, and with the 400 motor, and even the same rallye rims and swivel seats, but it had the "Fire Engine" bright red exterior, with white top and white interior. It was a REALLY sharp car when it was brand new, that color combo made it really pop!!. Too bad the 400 only had about 185HP. These cars are such nice cruisers. I would come down from Boston and buy this one real quick, but it won't fit in my garage because my '69 Skylark GS 350 would be in the way!! 😁
Holy Crap!! That is the car I ordered in 1976. Same color. 400 quadrojet. White landau roof. It's exactly the car I had! Amazing.
What a beautiful survivor.
I would love to have that thing in my garage.
Beautiful monte, I’d almost trade my jag for that one
I'm telling you now!!
If it wasn't a fortune and it wasn't too much a headache, id absolutely import one of these classics from Maple Motors to my home in Scotland. 😢
Nice, solid underneath, perfect setting for playing STYX'S CD A Grand Illusion 😊
That's a very nice car. I had a 75 in the same color with the 400. It didn't stay stock for very long lol. That single exhaust would have to go. Even if I did nothing else to it.
Awesome Landau Monte Carlo ❤❤❤❤❤
This exact car, color, with the the optional 400 ci engine, was the first new car I bought in 1976. Ordered it new at the dealer.
Wow. Got married had 3 kids in car seats in the back by 1985 when I sold it for a family sized Oldsmobile.
What a great cruiser. So comfortable and luxurious. The poor man’s Eldorado. I think it was $6,400 with the options I added.
Wow a Monte Carlo Landau that's the rarest package you can have 😅
Looks nice! I had a sky blue 77 Monte Carlo and miss it for sure.
I bought a used 76 Monte Carlo back in 1985. It was a great car. I wish I still had it.
Beautiful Ride Sweet Color And All Thanks Man For The Video
I would love to buy that car if still for sale 😅
Nice ... would love to have it 😎
Love 73-77 Monte Carlos
Have 2 73's with 454s
I personally prefer the 77 Monte Carlo"""we refer to them as Mexican Cadillac 😛
Nice!, Mom had a 74 it was White with a 350, Always remember how smooth that car rode!
I had one exactly like this except mine had white interior to match the top...great cars..floated like a cloud
Nice car. I'm not fond of sunroof, and prefer the gear selector on steering column instead of floor in a car like this.
Beautiful
Thanks For Another Great Video Thanks For Showing Another Flashback I Was 10 In 1976 A Friend Had A 77 In High School His Was Green Keep Up The Good Work With The Variety Of Vehicles You Show Dream Rides
Awesome looking car! Gas was about .50 cents in 1976.
Very nice looking 76 Monte and still has that class of that year.
The best year of the colonnade Style Monte Carlos in my opinion where the 1975's with the round headlights.
Had a lime green 1976 with white vinyl half top , 350 w TH400. Was a great car in its day.
I have a 1977 Monte Carlo with a 454 V8 ..I'm gonna sell it to a fellow from Ohio coming down to my state of Arizona with a trailer this Fall..
These were great cars Nick, I had a 75 and it was reliable and roomy. This just needs some TLC. Seller here for this one. Someone is getting a steal.
My Dream. Car always wanted one
That’s a beautiful car!!
That's beautiful
Dang man ,been ruff on that old car buttons switches
You know it
I had that exact car and I had that exact color combination with the red and the white top and I love that car my first new car elegant to drive and fun however it did not have a whole lot of power 350 V8 and it needed way more power but it was a nice car thanks for the video well done❤
My Stepfather bought a brand new 1976 Monte Carlo, but it wasn’t a Landau. I remember the car for many years as a kid. The car was a slug with the two-barrel carb. Gas WAS expensive (relatively) in 1976. My Stepfather used to drive around looking for the cheapest gas.
I had got one in 80 a lime green landau with the white top and white seats with green accent I still have it my son love it
What a nice car !!! Is that an after market sun roof ?
Sweet Monte Carlo, somebody loved her a lot. Had a 74 myself but a drunk driver rear ended her really bad, miss my sweet cruiser....(
This is incredibly clean!!!!! Absolutely gorgeous monte!!!! Old gangster ride lol all it needs is the ac fixed and me 😁❤️🤌🏼 I bet you could cruise this baby across the country no problem....awesome one nick👍🏽✌🏽

This ride was all over my hood in DFW, TX
Beautiful looking car thanks Nick have a very nice day mate
Thanks 👍
My first car was a 76 MC does the swivel seats not turn out? this one is so clean hard to find one with out rust around the little back windows. My sister T boned totaled a Sunfire with it and nothing happend to this tank.
My parents had a 1977 in green exactly the same as this one compete with the white roof
I had the exact year and color but mine wasn’t a vinyl top
I want it for you, I want it for me. I'll take my chances and let you be free! Nick, this is a great song! I'm 51 years old and I love it!
Beautiful car!
Had this car in black bought from the dealer
Nice montie that won’t last a week 👍one of the best I’ve seen so far
my first car... you have had some gems lately....I need to get some better jobs hahaha
Nice car
Those year GMs need the accumulator replaced for modern hardware. Did that for my 75 Buick Electra. Not an expensive fix. Very nice Monte
Great memories .
Super clean.
Wow, nice one I would ride the wheels off that one.❤😂
Where are you guys? Tennessee?
I’m absolutely buying a car from you guys in the next year or two! Ill bring my son - fly down and then take a road trip back to New York!
Nicer then a white Camero.. that was in back ground😅
Very clean car Sharp
Automotive, a/c is not a mystery. It, is easily repaired. Not a bad Monte Carlo. Not, bad at all! The price, seems decent! And, I'm a stickler!
My family had this car 🚗 when it first came out in this body style 1973 silver maroon roof
Near mint condition second gen Monte with sunroof & landau top alot car won't last @ ur dealership Nick also cant wait to do test drive video on green & white 1st gen K5 Blazer.
Very nice!!🤩
I love this!
Nice ride, FAR better than the tin can modern shit they build today.
Awesome looking car
Pretty car! All it needs is a set of tires with some Cragar wheels!
I'd keep the original wheels however.
I would to with some raised letter tires
Finally a horn that works! LOL!
That is a nice Monte Carlo.
Thanks
By chance are those swivel bucket seats.
